Our primary Doctor sent a referral to Dr. Asner, he sent back that my Doctor's referral was "" inappropriate referral"". His office is the only office in northern Illinois that takes my insurance. After 3 more request we were still rejected by Dr. Asner, So now I have to travel to Peoria, Illinois by ambulance to see another Neurosurgeon because of my medical issues. Dr. Asner's office is rued,and uncaring. The other Doctor's in his clinic followed his uncaring manner also.Worst service ever .

I Have seen Dr. Asner twice for 2 different injury's, in 2003 and now in 2015. He truly cares for what is best for you ....you are not a widget on a cookie cutter medical conveyor belt. He is incredibly skilled and gifted and can calm the most upset, frustrated and difficult patients (me before surgery). He is most caring and compassionate ...I would have no other Dr. for me and my family. Thanks Dr. Asner, you are the BEST!!

I had serious problems that were being ignored by other doctors. Once I made contact with Dr. Asner, I was able to start receiving treatment. I was assured by him that I was not imagining my problems and he took the time with us (myself and my husband) to explain the problem, the options, potential outcomes and welcomed me to get other opinions. He spent ample time with me in office and at the hospital; he actually listened to what I had to say. He has a great bedside manner and cares greatly for his patients. If you are experiencing any problems that fall within his field; I highly recommend you schedule an appointment with him and see for yourself. Best wishes!

Dr. Asner is the best neurosurgeon around. I had been to a few before him and he is the best. Dr. Asner cares so much about his patients and wants them to get well. His staff is so helpful, they take the stress out of getting ready for surgery. Dr. Asner spends so much time with his patients both in the hospital and in the office so that you are comfortable with everything going on. I can't say enough for such a nice person and doctor. If you need a neurosurgeon, Dr. Asner is the one to see.
