Dr. Ngozi Osuagwu, MD

Do not see this doctor if you are overweight. She will treat you extremely poorly, make assumptions, and ignore what you came in for in the first place.

Would not recommend. Very poor experience.

Dr. Osuagwu is thorough, very graciously frank and kind. I love having her as my obgyn....especially since I'm long past childbearing years.

Dr. Osuagwu, MD has been my Doctor for over 10 years and I have always been satisfied with her service, her dedication to providing the best health care by getting to the nature of the problem or treatment required. She is above all, very experience professional and caring dr. in her field. I recommend her to friends and family. She even delivered one of my grand Children.

I've been a patient of her's since 1998. She delivered both my daughters. I've read 2 opinions and I don't know who they were tlkn about! Dr Osuagwu talks to you like she is one of your girl friends that will keep it real. She calls you herself when a lot of doctors have one of their nurses call you back!!! HIGHLY recommend this Physician!!!!! Love her!

I am glad that I did not use these comments to prevent me from seeing Dr. Osuagwu. She was referred by a friend who spoke highly of her. I went in for an annual exam and she did a thorough exam, from head to toe. I received a letter a few weeks later with my results. It was a wonderful experience and I will refer my friends.

Annual pap smear, my first time with this doctor and facility. Dr. Osuagwu was rough. The procedure hurt and was uncomfortable. Sorry, won't be back.

Find a doctor who cares about their patients. Right before being put under for emergency surgery that this doctor was performing on me I heard her complaining about how it was the holiday weekend to everyone in the operating room. Having someone who is hostile operate on you is not an experience anyone should have.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Osuagwu. The office staff were all very friendly, as was the nurse that helped me during my visit. I went in for just an annual exam. Dr. Osuagwu took my history without hardly looking my direction or smiling. She moved through each question like a robot. During the examination, she moved through each step without telling me what she was going to do next. She didnt seem *rushed* necessarily, just that she had no desire to communicate with me as a person.I am overweight and I know that. I have no problem with a doctor pointing that fact out or recommending steps to help. However, the way in which Dr. Osuagwu did so was like it would be surprise to me. She also used a very condescending tone - as if that would be what would push me to eat healthier and exercise more. (If humiliation worked - we would be a nation of healthy skinny people.)I also noticed that she used that same condescending tone with her nurse and the office staff that she… interacted with while I was there.As someone that is going just for annual exams, I could probably deal with it. However I would NEVER want to be pregnant and be in her care and I will most likely request a different doctor the next time I go back.

Dr. Osuagwu is an excellent doctor. She is very honest and often tells you things that you might not want to hear. She spends the time to explain things and really wants the best for you
