Dr Meyer has been saving my arthritic hands for many years. Most recent, joint replacement in my ring and little finger. Surgery was only a couple of weeks before the COVID-19 shut-down. During this time, he has been able to still care for my fingers. Dr Meyer is not pushy and let’s you decide on procedures with given options. I waited a little over a year before making the choice of joint replacement. Dr Meyer is always there to answer questions of concern. He is an excellent surgeon and is friendly warm and gentle. I highly recommend him.

Last fall after I slipped on ice and broke my wrist, I was able to see Dr. Meyer 2 days later. I believe he gave me the options I needed to hear and I chose the one that sounded best (surgery) and he was able do the surgery the next day. My wrist has done well and since then I've seen him recently for an unrelated problem; a painful shoulder. Again he gave me different options and I chose the one that I felt I would prefer and I began to feel much improved the next day. He was courteous, helpful, prompt and professional and I would certainly recommend him to others. By the way, I went to see him because he was referred to me by my neighbor who had broken her wrist almost 3 years before my accident.

Had a really bad experience with Dr Meyer and Twin Cities Orthopedics. The first appointment with him he was 55 minutes late. He gave me no answers outside of slamming a cortizone shot into me. On one of my follow up visits, which was supposed to be with him, unbeknownst to me they had his p.a. set to meet with me instead of him, because he was going to be out that day. When I said that was not acceptable and they should have informed me, they were going to call me back to reschedule and they never did (not surprising). He recommended I go see a physical therapist and they literally charged me $250 to send over my records to the therapist. Bottom line is I cameto him with a bad shoulder and left him with a bad shoulder and $2,000 worth of bills. I would not recommend him or Twin Cities Orthopedics to anybody I cared about.

Dr Meyer successfully treated a long-standing wrist problem I had, giving me clear explanations and potential outcomes to help me make the best possible decision. My wrist is back to feeling very good again and working with Dr Meyer was a great experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meyer's for three years now. I can talk to him openly and don't feel he is judging me. He is understanding and accommodating to my condition. If I need to reschedule, it's not a problem. I see the same faces every time I visit his office which is comforting. He gives it to me straight and works with me to improve my health. He always has a smile for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Meyer is kind and compassionate. He takes time to listen, help you understand your condition and discuss appropriate treatment options. His staff is very kind as well. He is an excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help.

You may have a wait time for your appointment, however that is because he takes the time (as a doctor should) to listen to his patients. I have waited for my appointments with him and even though he may be running late, you will NEVER walk out of there feeling he rushed you and did not listen to you. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Meyers.
