Dr. Zervas performed a pituitary transphenoidal resection at a very early stage of the disease. He was so careful about his techniques and used the top teams of the hospital. It was an early use of this surgery (1984)and explained why it needed to be done and how dangerous it was at the time. I am honored that I was given the opportunity to be cured by his techniques and knowledge.
