Dr. Nicholas Paul Zotto, MD

I am so pleased with Dr. Zotto's medical care that even though my insurance considers his office out of "Network" and my cost is higher, I will not change to another doctor. He listens, is compassionate and doesn't rush through the appointment. Other doctors assign a 10 minute appointment and make you feel as if they're rushing you out of the office but not Dr. Zotto. He actually makes you feel as if he cares and offers options to your concerns. I will say, he must be a popular doctor because sometimes it's hard to get an appointment with him. As far as his staff is concerned, I've never had any problems with them. They at times, seem "too professional" but never not return my greetings. I'm not looking for friends, just do your job and get me out of the office as soon as possible so I can go to the bakery next door!

Dr zotto is great but I agree with all the other comments that the receptionist and girls making appointments are rude !! It's sad that I won't be returning because of the office staff... get your girls in check dr zotto !

Admittedly, I am a high-maintence and medically fragile patient. Dr. Zotto is one of the rare doctors I can talk with regarding my myriad of physical, mental and spiritual health issues . He does not talk at me, or lecture. He collaborates with me regarding my choices and decisions. Sometimes we even disagree, yet there is a sense of mutual respect. He actually listens! His bedside manner is old school and calming and caring. I am very confident of his medical knowledge and background. If only he would get out of that conglomerate of miserable, arrogant, incompetent staff. They have collectively caused me much grief over the years. Not a fan of some of his colleagues either. I overlook the negatives,which are outweighed only by Dr. Zotto himself.

Dr Zotto is a wonderful doctor. Two years ago I went to see him for the first time and on that very first visit he saved my life. I went to the office complaining that I was gaining weight (without eating anything extra) and that I was having trouble breathing when I laid down in bed. Within 5 minutes Dr Zotto was on the phone with Good Samaritan Hospital having them wait for me to arrive because he diagnosed me right there in his office that I was having congestive heart failure. We rushed to the hospital and I was admitted immediately. Dr Zotto's diagnosis was correct and I am here now to tell you my story. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing dr who is compassionate, caring and thorough. He brings his laptop computer into the exam room when he comes to see you. He will look up your information and also any questions you might have to give you the absolute correct answers (like drug interactions, etc.) I must say though that previous reviews complain about the girls in the… office. Yes, they can be a bit snotty but I put them right in place. I tell them to give me the same respect that they give their mother otherwise you will be looking for another job. Also, the furniture is not brand new and the decor has alot to be desired but I am there to see Dr Zotto and I would sit on a wooden crate to see him if that was the only furniture they had.

Dr Zotto epitomizes the compassion of a family doctor, yet has the knowledge of a teaching doctor. He is a calming force at a time due to my poor health was needed.

I have been a patient of Dr Zotto for nearly 15 years. He has always taken the time to listen and to compassionately treat any and all of my medical conditions ......I cannot say enough about this wonderful doctor.. Grateful that I have been his patient for all these years.

The only good thing about this office is Dr. Zotto. He is a concerned doctor who takes his time and doesn't rush through his patients. However, the office is horrible. Every time I call or speak to someone they give an attitude. They speak down to you as if your an idiot. I also was given wrong medication by one of the other doctors in the office and was sent for wrong diagnostic testing. Unfortanately Dr. Zotto belongs to this office. I am currently looking for a new doctors office because of the unpleasant dealings I have the office staff.

Upon arriving for first visit, found the young secretary with her cell phone, she didn't even look at us, rudely told me to "write down my name in the list and wait" just like that, the waiting room is dirty and the old chairs filthy. After some time, I returned to the secretary, who should have give me the new patient forms to fill, she was still with her phone texting. I left and canceled the appointment. Waste of my time getting there in the snow and distance for the appointment. Trying another family doctor.

I am sure a lot of people really like this physician because of his calming bedside manner. I feel that he is a bit of an alarmist. Just my opinion. I have been to him several times and each time he makes a big deal out of nothing.

He listens to what I have to say and does not rush me out of the room to get to his next patient.
