Dr. Nidagalle Gowda, MD

Dr. Gowda is very brusque and his bedside manner does not put patients at ease. He and his staff have very poor attention to detail, with my prescriptions either not sent at all or sent to random pharmacies and my personal information is frequently incorrect in their system! I am deeply unsatisfied with my experience and would not recommend Dr. Gowda and Manasa Health Center to anyone.

Lacks empathy and looks down on people who are suffering, watches the clock while talking. If you need help, look elsewhere.

Dr. Nidagalle Gowda Is our physician for our daughter who was going through illness. Having worked with him for our daughter’s need for almost a year, If I have to summarize our experience with him, the lowest expression is “He is an Outstanding Physician”. He has these amazing talent to connect with youngsters and treat them at their level. No forcing, no thrust but he connects with them by showing genuine care and affection. He is not that type, just diagnosing, providing medication and tell them take 1 in the morning one in the evening and see me in a month but understands fully their likes and dislikes and tailor the treatment weaving around that. He challenges them slowly and in progressing way but never make them feel threatened. If he has to spend more time, he does that without looking at the watch. And so on and on You have now some clues now as to why rated him as an outstanding physician. I am blessed to have him as our physician

Dr. Gowda has been my psychiatrist for 6 years. He has taken the time to get to know me and my mental health issues thoroughly. He has carefully monitored my medications and my mental and physical reactions to them. He is professional, warm, and I know he truly cares about me. I would not be as well as I am without Dr. Gowda. I’m absolutely grateful that he was recommended to me. I get email and text reminders about my appointments and he has always been accommodating when I’ve needed to reschedule them. I never waited more than 20 minutes in his office. I read some of these reviews of him and I have a hard time believing that most of these negative reviews are true. They’re most likely made by patients who don’t get the medications they want rather than honestly wanting to work with him on their mental health issues and the right treatment for them. I highly recommend Dr. Gowda to anyone who truly wants to get well. My life is fairly normal and my mental health issues have stabilized… since I’ve been seeing Dr. Gowda. I would not be where I am without him.

Dr. Gowda is exactly what I was looking for in a doctor to help with my ADHD. He does not rush through your visit, and he makes sure that the dose and medication you are prescribed is the perfect fit for you. My appointments have been routine, nothing unusual or unnerving, and the consistency is much appreciated. He very rarely runs behind schedule, the longest I've ever had to wait was 20 minutes, which I consider acceptable compared to how long I have had to wait for other doctors in the past. I highly recommend him.

He is an excellent doctor. He is treating me since last one year, he is polite and intelligent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gowda for over 5 years. He is an excellent, caring and professional Doctor. He has treated me with kindness and respect, has taken the time to not only learn about the health issues that I have, but also my life. I wish every Doctor could be like him. I'm very happy that I found Dr Gowda almost 2 years ago. The first couple appts he was very professional, and kind of stand offish but now he is very compassuinate, friendly, can joke, and he listens to me. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews as he can be brutally honest and a lot of people don't want honesty. If you are looking for a doctor to sugar coat things, he will not. Any advice he has given me has always been spot on.

After a traumatic experience, it was nearly impossible to find a psychiatrist in the area without waiting months for an appointment. Dr. Gowda saw me within a week with flexible hours. He takes the time to get to know you and works continuously to find the right fit for a specific treatment plan. I would highly recommend Dr. Gowda.

Dr. Gowda is really wonderful. He is friendly and thoughtful, just exactly what a person needs in a doctor. I had heard great things about him from others, and I wasn't disappointed.
