You operated on my 16 year old son, Wayne Kelly Oja, in mid-1988, removed a neurofibromatosis tumor from behind his left ear which extended over the top of his ear, under the corner of his jaw and on to the point of his chin. The blood vessels nourishing the tumor were extremely large, bleeding was excessive and you shared with me afterwards it took all the expertise at your command to save his life. He is now a share point infrastructure engineer after having worked his way through the University of Minnesota. He has had numerous manifestations of other tumors, is status post two more surgeries and donates both time and funds generously to neurofibromatosis research and to children's hospitals in the upper Midwest. Like you, he chooses to utilize his God-given gifts for the betterment of his own life and the lives he touches. Thank you for your intervention those many years ago, Dr. Pashley. My child lived on antibiotics for his ears. He was 3+. We saw Dr. for our second set of tubes. It was now just going into his throat now! It turned out he needed throat and sinus. He is now 13 he has never had another antibiotic again. My son was also already down to only 2 antibiotics that he could still take. Finding Dr. Pashley changed our lives forever.
