Most of the breast cancer patients in this area go to see Dr. Abdulla, we have a cancer survival group and most of the patients have been treated under him;
Dr. Abdullah explains diagnosis and recommended treatment in lay language, is encouraging without minimizing the seriousness of the condition. Never rushes, answers questions completely, helps with appointments at other medical professionals, instills confidence.
Spends time. We actually sought 2nd opinion and we just thought after meeting him that we were already in good hands.

Kind doctors, my husband had prostate cancer which recurred after surgery; our family was so stressed out especially my husband and my eldest daughter; he was highly recommended by our family physician and we had exceptional care under him; he treated us kindly, answered our questions and in fact gave us more knowledge; he is in remission now and it seems like he is going to stay that way;

Doctor who talk and listens to you. Great bedside manners
My son has rare blood disorder; since he had been a child we have been to multiple Hematologist and finally when he crossed adult we started seeing Dr. Abdulla who has been his doctor through his whole ordeal. He is an excellent doctor and went over and above what he had to do for my son. I don't know how we would have made it through the trying time without this very caring person. I met a lot of his patients during this time and they all really liked him. Anyone would want a person like Dr. Abdulla on their side.
We were blessed to be provided care by Dr. Abdulla, he is smart, compassionate and considerate
We are fortunate to have him in Victoria; had heard that his patients in Galveston loved him and so do the patients here;
I am thankful to have Dr. Abdulla as my physician; he is caring and considerate; goes out of the way to help;
You get to know very quickly that he is knowledgeable in his field; caring and puts one to ease; even if he is busy he spends time addressing my concerns.

Having a loved one being diagnosed with cancer is as you can imagine a life changing event. And of course one tried to seek the best. We were recommended Dr. Abdulla by our local church; we were very satisfied with him and could see he does know what he does and is most of all compassionate and put my wife at ease; since we were being pushed we asked for a second opinion and he was kind to in fact arrange it; however after seeing two different doctors at MD Anderson we realized that the info which we got at Dr. Abdulla was the most and his caring attitude make us come back to him and we felt fortunate. My wife was diagnosed at terminal stages but she is with us well beyond what the prognosis had in her condition. Dr. Abdulla helped us in every stage and we could not be more happy.
We just met Dr. Abdulla and he went out of his way to take care of my mother. He explained us and made us feel comfortable. I recommend him without reservation.
On meeting him we were confident that we are in good hands.
He is the Best. I love him as a doctor and his staff as well. They are so caring and courteous. Anytime I had questions or concerns they were always there for me. I would definitively recommend him
Great physician; excellent knowledge; knows what he is doing.
Dr. Abdulla is a physician am so proud to have. I recently had lung cancer diagnosed and and I got to see him tackle the problem heads on. The accuracy of his diagnosis and the humility to consult with his colleagues to ensure best treatment options was impressive. I would definitely recommend him as a top notch physician.
He comes with great recommendations; even other staff at UTMB had told me to go to this doctor.
I was recommended by another friend when I was found to have colon cancer; and I am glad I met him. I had seen other hematologist oncologist but after meeting him I felt I was in the right place. Would recommend him strongly.
I was blown away by the way he explained me the diagnosis and treatment options. Made me feel confident that I have a chance against this cancer.
This doc knows his field and is a specialist. Takes special interest, knows upcoming treatments and discussed recent trial results to help one make the right decisions.
The first doctor of many whom we saw who spent time explaining to me (and my sisters) about what exactly I am dealing with. He made me involved in decisions and gave me choices. He is one doctor who I could trust and he made me feel that I really cared.
Explained the best about my disease. Had came to see him as a third opinion and glad I got to see him.
Dr Abdulla has a very pleasant demeanor and was very supportive through a difficult time.
Provided me with the information in a concise way and I really felt that I am not alone in this.
Having a new diagnosis of cancer is always an enormous ordeal for not only me as the patient but also for the whole family. We were all stressed out prior to seeing Dr Abdulla. He made me relax. He spent a lot of time listening to us, explaining my disease and the treatment and was very understanding. He gave us courage and hope when we were at our lowest. He gave all five of us in the room attention and gave us opportunity to ask questions. Plus while we were in the waiting room, we met other Dr Abdulla's patients and have been under his care and all carried the same high regard of him. I am now 2 years in remission from my cancer and am proud to say I am a cancer survivor.
