We brought our baby to Scottish Rite due to a high fever that resulted in a febrile seizure. Dr. Rangwalla immediately assumed she had meningitis without showing any other symptoms. This doctor wanted to order a spinal tap and we did not feel comfortable with that option because of the possibility of her ending up paralyzed and or infection at the site. She made us feel like inadequate parents because we chose to go with another option of being on observation for 48 hours. In the end our baby had a simple case of Roseola. A typical toddler virus that results in high fevers with complications of febrile seizures. Be prepared to stand up for your child if you decide to use this doctor because she does not have your child's best interest.

This doctor rated a follow up visit as more difficult than the original diagnosis (from a different ER doctor). This cost me an additional $1,000 and the only possible explanation is incompetence or fraud. Emails and calls were not responded to, instead the doctor sent my bill to collections.
