Dr. Noah Daniel Weiss, MD

After 8 months of suffering with arm and hand pain and numbness Dr Weiss scheduled a small procedure to lessen symptoms rather than major neck surgery. He was very clear, concise, funny. Wanted to spend more time with him. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Weiss. He is so professional, smart, caring, and has a great bedside manner. From the first time I met him right through my right shoulder replacement he has been great. I highly endorse him. I live in Elk Grove and made the trip to Sonoma and am glad I did.

I had a maniscus repair. I thought my follow up would be with dr. Weiss but saw his physcians aide all 3 times afterwards. When I asked why I haven’t see the doctor, I was told there wasn’t a need. I was very upset about this and now I need to have that knee replaced and will go to another surgeon who doesn’t mind seeing his patients. I think he’s gotten too big to adequately tend to his patients.

I had a great experience from the beginning to the end. Great communication with no lack of character. I plan to see him in the future as needed!

Had to wait 2-4 hours for each visit. Rudest man I've ever met. Staff isn't any better.

Best care I've had in a long time from any doctor. He's the MAN. My operation was a challenge and extremely difficult and he pulled it off in flying colors. Very friendly and personable. Yes yes yes!

Dr. Weiss has a great bedside manner he is a great doctor shows concern for his patients and explains what he's doing! So your not left wondering what's going on.

When I made my first visit a year ago, I went in with several symptoms of a patellar tendon tear including a misaligned kneecap that stuck out at the corner where I was having excruciating pain. There was also a significant indentation on my tendon that was very obvious. I mentioned to Dr. Weiss that I studied PT tears online extensively prior to making an appointment and that it seems fairly obvious I have a PT tear (this was probably a mistake). He said "What makes you think that?". So I pointed out the issues. Despite the obvious evidence, Dr. Weiss said he doubted I had a tear. After a complete exam which included 360 degree x-rays and an ultrasound and a whole lot of poking, he concluded that all I have is enflamed soft tissue. The "remedy" was a cortisone injection. Dr. Weiss' advice to me at that time was to reduce my (running) mileage to 6 to 8 miles and cut back on hill running, which I did. 7 months later, more pain. I made an appointment, and this time, I didn't mention that… I thought I had a tear. He was automatically going to give me a cortisone injection and I asked to be given alternatives. He proceeded to lecture on reducing mileage and how runners are only good for a few years of running, etc. I reminded him that that's what he told me before and that I did everything he suggested. I cut back mileage and hills. Then he said "the definition of insanity is continuing what you're doing..." and I finished his sentence "and expecting a different result". But what he didn't want to admit or HEAR is that I WASN'T doing the same thing. I modified my running exactly as he suggested, and I told him this repeatedly, but he kept saying I'm lying about it and said "you don't get it". I said "No, I DO get it. I get it". and he said "I don't think you do". Not only does this make Dr. Weiss a terrible listener, but he's telling me I'm stupid and a liar. Then and ONLY THEN does he do an ultrasound and guess what? NOW he magically finds an obvious patellar tendon tear. I had known for a year that I had a tear, but he didn't want me to be right a year ago and he obviously didn't want me to be right about anything in my second visit. Instead, he let me run for a year on a torn tendon that was probably made worse by the injection, which he was automatically going to give me AGAIN before I asked for alternatives. The only reason he showed me the tear in the ultrasound THIS time (didn't show me the ultrasound last time) was that HE found it. Yeah? well I found it a year ago and I didn't need an ultrasound to find it. It's a good thing I didn't mention THIS TIME that I thought it was a tear, and it's a good thing he forgot I told him last time that I thought it was a tear. Otherwise, he would never have wanted me to be right TWICE! I've heard of arrogance, but to purposely misdiagnose AND wrongly treat such a serious injury, just to let a patient know you're above them? Insane, immoral and illegal.

He is full of himself and rude, treated me as if I was an uneducated fool, my father is a MD, and I have highly educated family members and to be treated like if I didnt matter was so irritating. I hated that it was too late to change MD's. My workmans comp pushed this guy so hard I was not comfortable with him but because my co-worker gave me good reviews I went to him, she gave me signs I should of read between the lines. Would never choose him wished I knew about this sight before.

Misdiagnosis led to a failed repair and very limited use of my right arm. There are several better shoulder specialists in the North Bay.
