am very upset that doctor kornwitz left Kent hospital. He will be missed. he is a great surgeon.

I tore my ACL while jumping on a trampoline. I saw Dr Kornwitz having an idea what was wrong before my appointment. He looked at my chart before coming in the room and already made his mind up before evaluating me. He came and told me my knee was fine I just needed gastric bypass surgery. He wrote me a script for PT and told me to come back in 7 weeks but nothing was wrong with me. After no improvement at physical therapy I switched providers who immediately listened to me and ordered an MRI. I had a grade 3 ACL tear (worst you can have). Dr Kornwitz totally ignored and blew me off when I had a major injury. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone!!

Waited over an hour each visit.. For a 5 min follow up!! Every time!!!!

I went there for my knees. After ex-rays he stated I needed knee replacements. IexplainedI am a very poor candidate for surgery ,anesthesia problems . He said well eventually Iwould have to have them done. I requested cortisone shots he wasn't going to but finally did with anger and frustration. Each time big rush ,poor nurses trying to quickly roll out pkg lidocaine,shot etc. One time he went ahead without a nurse barely rubbed lidocaine on the knee and shot it I screamed in pain he didn't flinch. Next time I requested a nurse absolutely be with me. He wouldn't offer the other treatment they inject a gel between the bone on bone area to provide relief.He was on the phone talking about another woman not his wife sounded really bad for patients to hear. I stopped going to him he's very rude, insulting,demeaning ,insensitive to pain he's causing God unto himself. STAY AWAY !

Dr. Kornwitz is very matter-of-fact; not the most gregarious person. However, he is a top-notch surgeon who successfully replaced both of my hips. No pain, no infections, perfect incisions. I highly recommend him.

This office is like a fast food restaurant. They want you in and out. I had many questions, but while your doctor is standing at the door trying to run out, it gets frustrating, therefore when I leave none of my questions are answered. I wouldn't recommend this place for a dog!!
