Dr. Olutoye did my daughter's Ladd's Procedure surgery at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia while he was Chief Resident of Surgery there under Dr. Flake. He was not only a brilliant surgeon back then, when he was still learning...but he was a kind, sweet advocate for my daughter as more health problems were uncovered. It is very difficult to have a child born with a health issue...but doctors like he do a wonderful job bringing comfort to a parent coupled with talent. You won't find a "surgeon's ego" in him at all.I've often wondered where he ended up...and still am grateful for the day he and Dr. Flake came into her room. I just wish he stayed in Philadelphia. Houston, you lucked out!
