When I first went to Dr. Shedd, I had been putting up with an occasional irregular heartbeat/tachycardia that over the years had gradually gotten worse with more frequent episodes.He was very understanding of my condition and after running a few tests, took all the time I needed to fully understand my options and the procedure he felt would be best for me. I never felt rushed to do anything.I put it off for awhile until one night I had a particularly bad episode of tachycardia..blacked out and fell. I called Dr. Shedd's office the next day and within a couple weeks I was in the EP Lab. He took excellent care of me and was always very caring and attentive. Although I know he has many patients, he treated me like I was the only one. I cannot think of a way a doctor could have treated his patient better than Dr. Shedd treated me. After the procedure I was amazed at his skill and that of his team. It has been three months since my EP Study/Ablation and I have had no episodes of tachycardia. I am convinced Dr. Shedd cured me. I highly recommend Dr. Shedd.

I had Dr. Shedd as my doctor in Lexington KY. He placed my pacemaker in around 2006. He was the sweetest doctor I have ever known..He made me feel at ease and somehow better about my heart condition. My husband and I both were so touched by his kindness, that he inspired my husband to continue one to become a cardiologist.. on his way! I really can't say enough nice things about him.
