Today, I went in as a walk in (I am a current patient) and the Dr Gil that seen me the week prior was not in. But The medications I was given was not doing well with me and I had to revisit the ER and told the front people so and that the people in ER advised me to go see my physician to fix the meds. I waited 4 1/2 hours and I suffer from anxiety/stress/HBP. My mother that accompanied me seeing my state I was in fatigued need of medication etc..she told the nurse/assist how much longer for a moment to speak to doctor Hernandez because my meds are all messed up. Apparently he did not like nor agree with the fact she did that and he kicked us out of his office called my mother of 80 years vulgar name and in the end made my situation worse. I am trying to pursue as much as possible to report this doctor I do not wish for anyone else to go through what I went through today! And the items they use are very old fashioned not up to date and not clean in the manor of taking care of patients!! Dr Oscar Hernandez is very unethical, foul mouthed and does not care about his patients!!! I reported him to my insurance AvMed and all. I will make sure everyone knows how rude and terrible this doctor is and can be and does not care about who he treats!!!
Dr. Hernandez has his practice too spread out (weightloss center, sleep apnea center, internal medicine, pediatrics, and I think I saw some new RX while u wait service? He and his staff overbook their patients, resulting in ridiculously long waits (with appts.)Staff supervision is almost none which in my many visits resulted in ineffiency of typical office duties. In addition, I don't feel his sometime strong personality and ego allows him to really empathize my feelings or concerns regarding my health. I would not refer anyone I cared about to this practice.
I went to a Dr`s. appointment on April 7th because I had a really sharp pain in my shoulder. I had to wait for almost ,4 hours to be seen by the Dr. He gave me a referal for an MRI,the receptionist told me that she was going to send the referal to my insurance and to Virtual Imaging. After a week, I called to my insurance to see if they had the referal aproved, but they told me that they didn't have anything pending for me. I called the Dr's office and this lady told me that I needed to contact Virtual Imaging which I did, and to my sorprise they did not have any referals for me, I was back and foward between the drs office and Virtual Imaging for nearly a month. I was told all kind of excuses and storitells to excuse their inconpetency and careliness. Nor Drs. office or Virtual Imaging would contactme to let me know status of my request that after my last attempt to get this throught on june 26 the aproval for my prescription was done. "It was received by insurence on june 25".I have to find out my myself again after back and forward phone calls to both parties on june 1. Its totally unaceptable and frustating to after all this phone calls i have found that these people working behind the desk on Doctors and VI are totally and compleately careless, insensitive to patients pain, sufering, and well being. It was well demostrated on my case, both of them need almost a month to get done what it takes only few hours of dedicated and well done work.(probably well paid too). Somebody should do something about this people in their respective business.
i got referred to this dr and i hate it. it was horrible i had an appt at 1pm i didnt get seen at all till 3:30 and then i had to wait again i didnt make out there till almost 5. 4hrs at a drs office is ridiculous!! I barely made it to school. it was just hassle!
I recommend you find another Doctors office!: When I first walked in, I couldn't believe this was a doctor's office. It was dirty and disorganized and I thought it would perhaps improve with their staff and doctors, well let me just say it got worse. They
