Dr. Osemwegie Emmanuel Emovon, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr Emovon’s for about 15yrs. He is an awesome doctor There are very few doctors this good. He cares about you and answers your questions so you understand. I’ve been dealing with doctors for about 37yrs and I can honestly say he’s in the top five of my favorites. He will take the time to review labs and your options. He is the best nephrologist in SC. I think his bedside Manner is great. He is a very caring person. Very knowledgeable about also in transplants. I would not change doctors unless forced to for some crazy reason.

Just recently met Dr Emovon as he was caring for my brother during a complicated hospitalization. He has been caring and compassionate. He never hesitates to answer all of my questions and returns my calls promptly. He encourages me to call him at anytime and actually told me to tell the on call doctor I wanted to speak with hi m even if he wasn’t on call. He ends all of his visits with “God bless you”. I think he is concerned about his patients and provides good renal care!

Dr Emovon is a wonderful doctor! I've been his patient for many years. He's always been a great listener, as well as very attentive. He also has a great personality. He knows his craft. He's definitely one of the best doctors in Charleston! With the help Of Dr. Emovon and the Lord, as well as the Doctors and staff at MUSC, let's not forget my donor, odds are I wouldn't be here today! Thank you Dr. E. May God continue to bless you. My father is a patient of Osemwegie E. Emovon. This doctor is rude. He doesn’t listen to his patients and I believe he over medicates. My father has been on the same medications for years. I took him to urgent care and the doctor there was stunned to hear about the treatment and lack of service my father receives from emovon. And she was shocked that he’s been on the same meds all this long time. She started that over time a patients meds should change because the body adjusts and becomes accustomed to it. He lack a bedside manner as well. I am convinced that he’s dishonest and he is only in medicine for the money, because he appears to have no compassion or empathy for his patients. I’m looking for a new doctor for my father as we speak! Don’t go to this doctor if you care about your health. Go to his doctor only if you want to be yelled at, talked down to, and patronized.

Very acsable and very knowledgeable and treats you with respect. And listens to you when you know something is wrong.
