Dr. Vazquez-Seoane received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his medical degree from Yale University at New Haven, Conneticut. Dr. Vazquez-Seoane completed his internship and residency in surgery at the Yale New Haven Hospital at Yale University. He completed his fellowship in spine surgery at the department of surgery at The Health Science Center at Syracuse in New York. Dr. Vazquez-Seoane is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Board of Spine Surgery. He has been in private practice and an assistant clinical professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio since 1991.

This was my first visit to see Dr Vasquez in order to discuss surgical options to address my back pain. Dr Vasquez pulled up my MRI, explained my problem and what type of surgery I would require, should I choose to do it. He also explained a less invasive procedure which I opted for, radio frequency oblation. I hope it works. Thank you Dr Vasquez.

Dr. Vazquez listens to all his patients have to say to make his diagnosis. He has a friendly demeanor and makes you feel at ease. I have recommended him to people who have back pain like mine. I know that he is one of the best surgeons in SA.
