Dr. Pamela Mary Quinlan, DO

My dad had the worst experience with this doctor and office. After making my dad wait for 3 hours (second visit waiting for previous records), she didn't even have the courtesy to call him herself when she finally got the records. When the office called to tell my dad Dr. Quinlan'a recommendations,, the office staff wouldn't even give the message to her that I wanted to speak to her directly. She said, "message her on the portal". Being a doctor myself, this is very frustrating. I would not recommend this doctor or this office.

She’s one of the kindest caring doctors anyone could ask for. Takes the time to answer any concerns and questions you might have and doesn’t rush thru the appointment She really cares about her patients

I had my thyroid removed in 2006 and have seen endocrinologists since then, in Richmond VA and now in Baltimore. I’ve found Dr. Quinlan to listen to me when I tell her how I’m feeling - not just go by my lab results. She involves me in my treatment and always has allotted the appropriate amount of time. I hope she stays in Baltimore - I want to continue to see her for my endocrinology needs.

Dr. Quinlan was very attentive in my 1st visit to her and took notes and listened, but did not have much to offer. She was responsive to emails and I felt like she was invested in her job as my doctor, but by my follow up visits could see she was just there to collect her fee. Long wait times to be seen (once sat in the lobby for nearly 1 hr) and follow-up visits were rushed through with usually just a referral to another doctor.

During my initial appointment, the doctor left in the middle of our conversation and did not return for at least twenty minutes! No exaggeration! Then I made numerous calls in 28 days, left on the medical assistant’s or scheduler’s voice mail, for the doctor to return my calls. She never did! Not once! I had lab work done! I was never informed of the results! Then I went for my follow-up appointment and was the only one in the waiting room at that time. Eventually other patients arrived! I was first to be taken to an examination room. The doctor was already in Room 3 with a patient that arrived before me and I was placed in Room 4. Forty-five minutes after I arrived, I heard the doctor leave Room 3 expecting her to come to my room! She didn’t! I waited at least another 30 minutes! Then she went back into Room 3! I don’t know if the doctor has the problem or if her staff is so disorganized that the service provided to me in two visits is totally unacceptable! I shall not return,… although I think this doctor could have provided me with my medical needs! Such a sad situation!!!

This review is about the office staff, not Dr Quinlan. I never got to the doctor because the staff has no idea what is going on. After four attempts at getting lab orders, speaking to three different people and having two appointments rescheduled, I am finding a new doctor. One doesn’t know what the other is doing and are giving the doctor a bad reputation. Too bad she is messed aware.

I absolutely love Dr. Quinlan and everyone else at the Caton Avenue office.

Don't waste your time. This doctor only looks at the numbers and doesn't care what your symptoms are. She is lazy and puts forth zero effort.

I was looking for a new doctor since I moved to the area. Found Dr. Quinlan based on easy location but the experiences were appalling. Although my first visit was terrible- over an hour wait time and rude staff- I thought I would give it another try. I had about 4 to 5 visits and decided that I had enough. All my experiences were poor from the rude staff, long waiting times, doctor who only does the basics and the list goes on. I am never coming back, found a much better doctor and would not recommend Dr. Quinlan ever.

My first appointment, the staff was incredibly rude. My second appointment was at 8 am. I was the first patient in the office. I waited forty minutes. My third appointment, I arrived 20 minutes early and then waited TWO AND A HALF HOURS only for Dr Quinlan to spend maybe five minutes with me to tell me that everything came back normal, meaning she has no answers for me, probably something that she could've just mailed or called about rather than taking my money, my time and my insurance benefits. Ultimately, the wait and the costs are not really worth the lack of effort that the staff and "doctor" put in. I struggle with all kinds of hormonal issues, including infertility, weight gain, mood swings and other issues. Everything's "normal" only in the fact that once again, I'm faced with a doctor who reads the charts and doesn't listen to their patient about how they're feeling.
