I am grateful of Dr. Quijada. When not one give me hope and after spending 2 weeks in a hospital being in scruciated pain someone enlighted us to Dr. Quijada. I refuse blood transfusion but my hemoglobin was getting low for 2 week npo at the hospital, then the surgeon that supposed to do my. Surgery told me that he was not the right doctor for me, and that hospital was not prepared to handle my case, so after my family member battle to get the transfer Dr Quijada very concern not only about my health but he was worry about my kids too, my prognosis was really bad! He respect my desicion that not blood even if that was a death sentence for others doctors, and after I take care business for my kids and husband I got the emergency before the surgery day, my hemoglobin still low count but it got a little better in those days that I was home eating the right diet, I got partial pancreactomy and splenectomy, this type a surgery is very bloody but after surgery I was able to get my life back and do more, I become a volunteer firefighter, and looking for a good job I end up join the military with doctors approval my surgery was in July 2003 and 10 years has pass already and with the right diet still I am not diabetic and still grateful about dr Quijada and his crew they support me, emotionally giving to me confidence in the health system and provide all care for me, I don't remember the name of his PA but he took time to visit me and seat next to me before my big surgery I wish I new his name, after the surgery I was just in pain for the surgery and couple days after I when home and start my recovery! 5 stars is to little doctor Patricio Quijada deserve the award of the best doctor in the world, in my case I give All the 5 start of excellence and the whole sky full of them pack of gratitude! I had two occasions to use Dr. Quijada's services. Once, there was a suspicious spot on my Mammogram. Dr. Quijada examined me and allayed my fears. He examined the Mammogram films and was able to immediately point out that the suspicious spot was actually a fastener on the gown I was wearing. He also took excellent care of my son who was involved in a car accident and had a punctured lung. His care and treatment was beyond excellent and I will always be grateful to him.
