Amazing surgeon! Great guy! I highly recommend. C3-4 c5-6 total disk replacement. I Love Dr Sweeney and his staff.

When I went to see him after a slip and fall accident he was arrogant and cold. I didn't go back again and found a different dr. Later on when he gave his deposition he did his best to discredit me even though he spent less than 10 minutes with me. See him at your own risk.

Had surgery in 2004 and Dr. Sweeney was a straight shooter, he told me exactly what I needed which was a fusion. I had it and I’m still virtually pain free. 99.9% rebuilt. He gave me my life back. I will say to everyone out there trust no one but him.

Had first surgery done by Northshore. After year and half pain was worse than before surgery. Had second opinion done by doctor Sweeney. Still have a long way to go but glad I found and had second procedure done by Sweeney. Already feeling the pain and numbness gone would highly recommend him to friends and family or anyone who needs surgery

Dr.Sweeney and his assoc. Ray Hines are responsible for 2 fusions in my low back and another 2 in my neck. I am an avid bow hunter and thought I would have to give up my sport. I am able to hunt and much more than I ever thought I would be able to do. Right from the start I felt my well being was their top priority and they made all choices with my best interest in mind. Their surgery center and staff are all top notch and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend them to anyone with a back issue.

I choose this doctor after being referred by a friend & i needed surgery asap. Hospital setting is VERY nice, nurses were amazing. Dr. Sweeney has an insulting personality & strange bedside manner, as does his assistant "Ray" (not a physicians assistant) Would never recommend Dr. Sweeney to anyone

Dr. Sweeney was the most caring doctor I've ever been to. He took a lot of time with me. Gave me options and is an excellent surgeon!
