Dr. Patrick Michael Connor, MD

Dr Connor operated on our son’s shoulder as a result of several dislocations. Dr Connor was recommended by several other physicians as the top shoulder person in. Carlotta We found Dr Connor to be excellent. He exuded confidence but not arrogance and explained everything to our son in a straightforward manner. His PA and staff are also excellent. I can understand why he is so highly regarded by his peers The surgery went well and our sons shoulder is back to normal

Horrible! Dr Connor treats you like your pain is not worth his time. Then they tell me they will contact me for an MRI appt which they never did. After a month I call and they say I need to make the appt but never gave me details to do that. Then they never called me afterwards. I did get an email from the MRI dept saying my results were online. I finally called DR Connors office to see what's next. The person I spoke to make it seems like surgery could help or have no improvement at all. I was charged $45 for that phone call. Now I'm wasting time on the phone trying to straighten that out. I recommend you find someplace else.

What a HACK! Visiting this doctor was a waste of money, time and energy. He never looked at my knees to check my injuries. I have a torn meniscus. He never asked about my poor range of motion or the painful snapping sounds from my knees. He asked for xrays when we already knew nothing was broken. He barely spoke to me about what my injuries were and how my injuries feel. Don't waste your time visiting Dr. Connor. He's a stuffy old wind bag that loves to hear himself talk and hates to have you disagree with his diagnosis. I'm definitely getting a second opinion. Also, because I disagreed with his findings which clearly hurt his feelings, they sent a male nurse to throw me out of the office. I pose no threat and didn't raise my voice. Dr Connor is a hateful racist. If you look like him, you'll fit in nicely otherwise I would advise you to take your medical business elsewhere! I've been asked to revise my review because it implies provider misconduct. I'm not implying! I'm stating!

I came to Doctor Conner for a 2nd surgery for my right rotator cuff, several years ago. He was extremely thorough in ascertaining the necessary information in order to perform my surgery. From the explaining the X-rays, to providing realistic expectations of both the surgical procedure, and the necessary recovery time and physical therapy...he leaves nothing to chance. Within the last year, I had revisit Dr. Connor because of the unusual injury of tearing my bicep muscle. Once again, he and his team at OrthoCarolina, provided me with excellent care throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough great things about his expert knowledge, and his compassionate care for his patients. Feel free to ask me questions about my experience as his patient. Put it this way...if your needs are within his realm of practice, you’ve found THE doctor that you want to do either your surgery, or the surgery for someone you love. Cheers! Angela Weyenberg

I would recommend anyone to Dr Connor and have done nothing but sing his praises since my surgery in 2012. I was back to work pain free after 6 weeks of rehab. My ex husband actually went to him after seeing the results I got and was pleased with his results as well.

Doctor came w higher reviews. Poor bed side manner. Assumed to know the diagnosis wo collecting the needed imaging. His diagnosis was incorrect after going under the knife. Just flat out cocky and irresponsible as a board certified doctor. Believe he works w professional teams and could be his reason for his unprofessional behavior in being reckless w my health and diagnosis. I am reaching out to state board to file an ethical complaint.

I definitely would choose this doctor again. He was courteous and efficient and really lidtened to me.

I would not recommend this physician to my worst enemy.  He came into my appointment with a condescending attitude, didn't discuss or view my MRI with me, refused to answer my polite questions, and misdiagnosed my condition.  His diagnostic troubleshooting skills are pitiful, especially for a surgeon who has been doing that job for that length of time.  I don't know if maybe he only has interest in sports injuries and has gotten into a comfort zone with that, but I definitely expected more from a physician who works with the Carolina Panthers.

not really impressed Wanted to see him for a 2nd opinion for a recommended rotator cuff repair as this is his area of specialty, his office wouldn't even let me make an appointment because we had already seen another orthopod for that problem.

Thank you so much for repairing my broken and decayed humurus bone. i was being treated incorrectly and i heard about you and came to your office. you immediately identified the problem. you did surgery that i didnt even feel and i now can extend my arm all the way up towards the sky. you are a miracle man.
