Dr. Patrick William Morell, MD

First, let me say that I may be in grief mode as I compile these words. Dr. Morell delivered my first baby (boy) in 2015. Since, he has stopped the OB aspect of practice after 40+ years ??. I also have to take a moment to shine a torch on his nurse (Christie)... unlike any other; loving, friendly and proficient. They complement each other. This is exactly the physician you want!! He is compassionate, straight-forward, well-rounded and fully capable of handling all your OB/GYN concerns. Seriously this Dr made me feel like I've been giving birth all my life and that it was a breeze. Reality was... I had something called SPD, then my kid breeches at 36wks etc. Dr. M performed a successful "version" and I was able to deliver vaginally. Even when I was deathly scared as a first time parent; he always made me feel unconquerable. Where will I/you ever find a doctor like this again? Now 2017 I'm in my 2nd pregnancy and wishing everyday I had him for my care/delivery. Now you grasps why I'm… grieving. ??. If finances were not an option, I'd be that patient that makes crazy offers just to get Dr. Morell; one last time as a private physician. Yes!! I said it; and I don't have any mental illnesses. I simply hold him and his team with high regard! My husband and I were lucky.

I had the unfortunate need for a D&C after a miscarriage. Dr Morell, who cared for and delivered my 2 successful pregnancies, was my surgeon for this procedure. He (and the entire supporting staff) were incredibly kind, gentle and compassionate through the whole thing. Entering the OR I was trembling from cold and nerves, and Dr. Morell took my hand and held it through everything ... while getting set up on the table, hooking up to all the bells and whistles and masks and wires and needles. He knew I was anxious about going under and he didn't let go of my hand until I was totally gone. What surgeon does that?! This isn't just an exceptional surgeon, he's a truly compassionate human being.

The first time that I saw Dr. Morell, I was impressed with the amount of time that he spent listening to me. Another doctor had found an ovarian cyst and was ready to yank out my ovaries in a couple of weeks. I asked him for a second opinion. He checked it out and found that it had already resolved. Since then I have relied on him and received excellent, compassionate, and knowledgeable care. He always allots time for my questions and even verifies with me that we have addressed all of my concerns. I hope that this review adequately describes what a great doctor he is.

One couldn't ask for a better, more supportive and thorough OB/GYN provider. He understands his patients and although he is generally busy he answers questions and provides all the information you need. I adore this doctor & his staff; especially his MA, Christy. I'm pleased with my decision & only wish he was available to deliver all my future babies... But I cannot be selfish. Fellow Washingtonians, you won't regret using Dr. Morell.

Dr Morell delivered both my babies and I would highly recommend him to all! Unfortunately, I heard he is retiring from delivery but still will drive from Auburn, WA to see him annually.

Dr. Morell has delivered all 4 of my daughters. Each and every time he was great! He supported my birthing plan and gave honest feedback where it was needed. When complications arose, he was very prompt in monitoring and keeping me informed. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Morell.

No better OB/GYN out there. Amazing doctor and person.

I have had 3 babies using Dr. Morell as my OB and have had great experiences each time. He is by far my favorite doctor and I highly recommend him.

I would never choose a male OBGYN and only went to him on the recommendation of a friend. He is exceptional. Did surgery and has a very caring bedside manner. He is so popular that he is hard to get an appointment with so I see the Nurse Practitioner for more routine visits. Dr. Morell is one of my favorite doctors ever.
