no bedside manner wouldn't even answer my questions and kept me waiting when I was the only patient. Walked out would not go back. Made a new appt. with a different doctor. UGH

Lerer diagnosed me with colitis. He put me on one med and I felt worse. The second med he put me on only gave me slight relief. I complained that I still didn't feel well and he ignored me. I decided to see a more qualified GI doctor at a NYC hospital. She performed a simple test and discovered that my pancreas was not producing digestive enzymes. She then wanted to find out why and I just had an MRI to see if I have chronic pancreatitis or worse yet, cancer. I'm waiting for the results. Stay away from Lerer.

rude. no consideration of patient's time. staff is very professional. condescending with no reason. if only he was as good as his credentials or his opinion of himself.
