I had been a patient of Dr. Lynch since he took over the Arizona Pain Specialists in Scottsdale. I'm sorry he's no longer seeing patients. He was always very kind and attentive with me and I've never had a problem even though I'd had plenty of procedures with him. I now see his partner Dr. McJunkin, who I love also, but I wouldn't hesitate to see Dr. Lynch again or recommend him. He's a brilliant doctor and always took the utmost care with me.
I received an epidural steroid injection (ESI) from Dr Lynch. After the procedure I have now learned that the drug that Dr Lynch used for the ESI (KENALOG-40) is NOT APPROVED BY THE FDA FOR EPIDURAL ADMINISTRATION. Dr Lynch never informed me that he was injecting a drug into me on an off-label basis. Had I been properly and legally informed that the drug injected into me was NOT APPROVED by the FDA for epidural administration, I would have refused the injection. The package insert for KENALOG-40 from the Bristol-Myers Squibb website clearly states at the very top "NOT FOR EPIDURAL USE". Why is a drug being injected into people epiduraly when the package insert clearly states "NOT FOR EPIDURAL USE"? At minimum, informed consent should be obtained from each patient. This is something that I never received. I have also learned that ESIs are extremely dangerous. Several people have even died from ESIs. Arachnoiditis is also another very serious complication that may result from ESIs. I was never informed of any of these potentially very serious complications from ESIs. I would not recommend Dr Lynch for any kind of invasive procedure due to him failure to give proper and legally required informed consent. For narcotic pain relievers he is probably OK.
The front office staff and billing staff is painful in itself, long waits, appointment mix-ups.Brought in records from previous pain Dr. that died, told Lynch I wanted exactly the same epidural injection. As soon as injected knew something was wrong, severe pain, couldn't talk. Staff realized something was wrong put me on a gurney and took me to the MRI, was left in hallway for almost an hour in severe pain until I yelled out "what the h&ll is going on here", someone came out of an office and told me that I would have to wait, others are ahead of me. I had the people that brought me help me to the car and I left. The worst experience I've ever had in many years of chronic pain treatment.
This man treats his patients like enemys and shows no respect for people in pain asif he doesnt care he perscribes tramadol knowing that it doesnt work on 90% of the people that take it. i have a suspition that he gets kickbacks from the company that makes tramadol and the staff he has working under him all have horrible attitudes and arent professional at all!!!
My favorite doc! The office can be crazy busy sometimes and I may have to wait a little but for me it is worth it because I know I'm getting great care! Willing to answer all my questions and offers me a multitude of treatment options in one Clinic so I can get all my care in one place!
I have found Dr Lynch & staff to be very professenal & caring. My experiance with him has been very rewarding as pertaining to getting the maximum good result from the procedures he has preformed on me , with the absolute minimum amount of discomfort during these procedures! He is more worried about getting results for his patients , than running them through the useual money makeing machine most doctors use on their patients, I would recommend him & staff in the highest regard , if results are what you are looking for!
My first visit to forever! but three visits later I am 90% pain Free! I figure waiting for the doctor (because they are so busy) is a small price to pay for pain relief. This is the fourth pain doctor I have seen and the only doctor that has given me any kind of result. It is obvious why this place is so busy, they know what they are doing.
I have been to the Mayo with multiple problems and have had several procedures. They directed me to try a pain specialist and I was fortunate enough to get an appointment quickly at the Arizona Pain Specialists. Dr. Lynch has the rare quality of being professionally capable yet also personable. His staff was excellent. Dr Lynch directed me to the next logical step and gave me hope that I can get relief from my persistent pain.
The staff seem confused. I went in for a procedure. Of course I was to prepay. Like I was a criminal. I sat in a room with curtains and there was literally a door bell, to move us from chair to chair. I saw my dr for a bout 2 minutes and was told to come back. Very unprofessional. I will not be back and will be reporting them to my insurance company. 3 thumbs down on professionalism
I felt like a pieceof cattle. Dr. Lynch cares only about how many patinets he can see in an hour. No results and money hungrey. I followed up with another dr. who was far more attentive and sympathetic. His staff is lousy. All talking about their weekend plans while waiting to get a procedure done.
this clinic only cares about how many patients they can see a day and if you want to see one of the docs they will be in the procedure room. You be seen by a pa or np who are pretty good and the doctors are as well but this clinic lacks in customer service and patient care badly. They have been blinded by money and don't put any back into their clinic.
I saw Dr Lynch once and by the time he was finished telling me what he would do to help my pain, I chose not to see him nor follow up with him again.
Yesterday I visited the Scottsdale office. I found the waiting room very elegant and modern. It was a very good first impression, but as we all know the look can be deceiving.... I went to the front counter, where I was greeted by two smiling faces, whom at the same time said "Can I help you?" I had previously filled out my paperwork so I handed it and my scans to one and the other my identification card and insurance card. They promptly reviewed all of the information and handed my cards back. Another great first impression..!!After briefly sitting in the waiting room (which was full, everyone being attended to by staff one on one.) Another point to the plus...I was called back by a very polite young lady who roomed me and took my vitals. After a very brief wait, entered Nichole,NP. She was wonderful!!! She asked questions, listened to me and my concerns, performed an exam, and we sat together and came up with a plan of action. Her entire attention was focused on my health. (That should be entered as 2 points)?? Dr. Lynch came in and we discussed the issues and agreed with the plan of action. From the front desk, to Daniel at check out, was positive, warm, and an abundance of wonderful customer service, and smiles. I could not be happier with my experience. Arizona Pain Specialists, PLLC. will be a medical practice I will tell many people about....Thanks to all of you at APS !!!
After years of suffering with chronic pain from multiple causes I ended up seeing Dr. Lynch. He and Dr. McJunkin were so unique in the way they treated me. I had given up on ever finding a dr. who treated me as a whole person and didn't dismiss me as someone who was untreatable. True pain patients want RELIEF, not to be drugged. These are really good drs. who care and have devoted their lives to helping a group of people who are hard to help sometimes. Thank you Dr. Lynch and all the staff at APS. I really appreciate you.
I was very impressed with the quality of service I received. Dr. Lynch and the entire staff gave me more attention than normally received at a doctors office. They took all the time needed to explain and answer my questions. I was very pleased with how on time they were for my appointment. I didn't feel rushed and they were right on target with the treatment they gave me. After one visit my pain subsided and I left feeling very comfortable. I was also impressed with scheduling of a follow-up visit. They accomodated my schedule. I would highly recommend Dr. Lynch and the entire staff to anyone.
I've been with Dr. Lynch since he took over this practice. The doctor who owned it before him was a fabulous doctor and I was very upset when Dr. Lynch took over the practice, thinking no one could be as good as the previous doctor. I was proven wrong. Dr. Lynch is not only an incredible doctor, but a very compassionate, down to earth person as well. He's gone above and beyond in finding treatment options for me, and I know he'd do anything to help me. I think of him as "family" now and wouldn't go to anyone else. He's simply the BEST!
I have been in pain for years and have been going from doctor to doctor trying to get help. As soon as I walked in and spoke to Dr. Lynch, he understood and immediately took me serious. I am grateful to finally find a Doctor who understands my problem.
Dr. Lynch and the staff at AZ Pain Specialists are wonderful. Walked into my first appointment with immense pain and 3 hours later went home pain free. Of course follow up is necessary but they did what no other doctor could do in the last 15 years! I highly recommend this center.
Once I was unable to prepay for treatment the doctor walked out of the room and gave me no option but to discontinue treatment. No discussion of options whatsoever.
I was there early so i spent more time in the office but my appt time was right on time. Everybody was just wonderful. Dr Lynch is a treat to know and iam happy i found him i was very impressed
Dr. Lynch, Dr. McJunkin and all of the staff are some of the most caring, dedicated professionals I have had the pleasure of meeting. They listened carefully to my history and symptoms and did not dismiss me or make me feel that it was all in my head. I have recommended APS to several people who are in pain and need to be heard by someone who cares. Thank you Dr. Lynch.
dr. paul lynch is a very kind, considerate, knowledgeable doctor who took the time to answer all my questions. he did not make me feel rushed at my appointment, he listened. his staff was also very kind. i would recommend dr. lynch and his staff to anyone. i finally found a doctor who listens and explains everything and doesn't rush you.
Having dealt with several dr.'s over the past few months and office staff. I was so relieved to find people who took the time to listen, made eye contact! and had genuine compassion for the patient. This is an overwhelming busy office and from entering to leaving I was treated with courtesy and respect.
worst clinic I have ever been toworst doctor I have ever seenwould NEVER go back
Dr. Lynch is a great doctor very caring and concerned about helping with chronic pain issues
WORST DOCTORS EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HADSTAFF VERY RUDE, DOCTOR SPENT all of 4 minutes with me, TOLD HE TO GET X-rays DONE< WOULD NOT REVIEW RESULTS OVER PHONE, MUST HAVE APPT, WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE EMG NERVE STUDY AND NERVE BLOCK (per his order) AND HIS STAFF CANT SEEM TO GET IT SCHEDULED AND THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO< NO ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK< AND FORGET EVER GETTING DOCTOR OR NURSE PRACTITIONER TO CALL YOU BACK< THEY ONLY TALK TO YOU IF YOU MAKE OFFICE APPT, EVEN IF HIS OFFICE STAFF IS NOT GETTING THE WORK UP SCHEDULEDDO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC, A REVOLVING MONEY MAKER FOR HIS PERSONAL BACK ACCOUNT AND NOT FOR PATIENT CARE!!!!!
Dr. Lynch at Arizona Pain Specialist is an awesome doctor. I have been seeing him for about a year and he is spectacular at what he does. He is a very caring doctor and he always answers all of my questions and has helped me with the chronic pain that I suffer from. I would not go to any other Pain clinic, I would only recommend Arizona Pain Specialist. The staff is excellent and very caring. I have no complaints only good things to say about Dr. Lynch and his staff. Thank you Dr. Lynch
I found Dr. Lynch on his website, www.arizonapain.com--he treated my pain holistically, as promised. I was seen by his NP, Robin, first and she was very compassionate. She gave me options and choices for my pain relief. Dr. Lynch is a teacher of other Pain Specialists, and it shows--when I was telling him about how my CRPS feels and how it affects my everyday functioning, he could explain why I was feeling the way I was. I appreciated that he had a plan for controlling my CRPS that I could live with. I felt cared for by the staff and like an important person when I was at the office. I highly recommend this provider.
