We were at your office 2 1/2 hours for a procedure that took less than 30 minutes - an allergy test for my wife, Raette Schafer. You and your staff need to show much more urgency with respect to you patient's time. She had an appointment for 9:30 on Monday, Sep. 20, 2010 (shouldn't be a backlog at that time of day) but she still had to wait to get in and waited 30 to 40 minutes between someone coming in to take the test, again for the initial reading of the test, again for the doctor to read the test, and again for a final blood test. We should charge you $80 for our time!

I started seeing Dr. Mehlhop when he was with ECU Physicians and followed him to his private practice, The Allergy Center of NC, because he is a wonderful, caring, patient, and attentive doctor. His nurses are friendly and kind, and it's fairly easy to get an appointment.
