Dr. Savoca is terrific. He's an excellent surgeon, striving for the best outcomes with state of the art techniques, minimal pain & rapid healing. He succeeds in that.

I was really nervous about seeing this kind of Dr, but the doctor and nurses made it easier than eating chocolate cake!!

I am so blessed to have had such a brilliant surgeon as Dr. Paul Savoca. Not only is he a highly competent surgeon but is also a thoughtful and compassionate. A true doctor indeed. Dr. Savoca is also an excellent communicator. When discussing my cancer diagnosis with me, he explained in detail the minimal robotic colorectal surgery he would perform to remove the cancerous mass. He also told me of the temporary ileostomy I would need and further after care that would be required. His attention to detail in our discussion made me feel I could trust him completely and am so glad I did! My follow up care has been regular, kindly and attentive. I cannot thank him enough!

Dr. Savoca is a true, caring medical professional and talented surgeon. I was blessed to have been referred to him by my gastroenterologist and to have him perform my surgery. After two recurrent bouts of diverticulitis in 7 weeks, both with perforations, it became apparent that surgery was the best option to treat the condition. He uses the Da Vinci surgical method that was minimally invasive and resulted in an unbelievably quick and relatively painless discovery. Throughout the entire process I received the absolute best care....I can't possibly recommend him, or the hospital staff at Reston Hospital Center, highly enough. Remarkable surgeon and a great, caring human being.

I am very happy to be Dr. Savoca's patient recently when I was under his care for my surgery. He has stayed at the forefront of medical advancement to explore new methods with higher success rate and the least discomfort for patients, as he probably is the only one in the area to perform a minimally invasive procedure, instead of more painful and prolonged one for my case, that requires high level of skills and precision. Dr. Savoca first of all, has a very friendly and comfortable presence. He knows what he is talking about and it is evident immediately. This is because his instinct made him go beyond what the test told him, he followed his gut feeling which comes from years of being a great surgeon.
