I saw Dr Eagle 3x a week for over a year and really saw no improvement whatsoever. She would bill me at the end of the month but at one point raised her rates without notice. I was sent a bill at the end of the month as usual but with the new rate. Why wouldnt she just notify me beforehand if she is raising her rates and let me decide if its something I can afford to continue with? Even though that upset me- I would have paid anything to get 'better' but since her treatment was so ineffective I felt this added insult to injury.

I saw this doctor for a consultation, and was displeased that she projected several inaccurate diagnoses with a good deal of force. She said, after only a few general questions, that she would need to prescribe anti-depressants, since I "had the look of a depressed person". I'm suffering some mild anxiety after family issues. She pressed for two appointments a week without revealing an abnormally high fee until the end of the consultation. This doctor doesn't accept insurance. I did not see her again, but she sent me a "friend" request on a social networking site, and billed me three times, months later, for appointments I didn't have. Also, I received a bill for another patient made out to my address! When I pointed this out to her via email, she responded "I am a psychiatrist, not a clerk!" and "Blaming others never solves your problems!"

Dr. Eagle is one of a kind. In her own league and class. The best of the best. I saw Dr. Eagle as a Columbia University film school student - and it was the most fortuitous of things that I got to see her in Dr. Eagle's private practice, and for three years. She helped me gain insight into something that had forever troubled me (abuse/neglect issues) helped changed my perspective about myself (loser to champion), my life. Her kindness and gentleness allowed me to explore things on my own. Though she forever had a game plan once I was in her office. And it was clear to me that her treatment plan had been well thought out and researched - tweaked as necessary based on my responses and down time. I love this woman and this doctor, and I highly recommend Dr. Eagle to any and all in the Manhattan area. JFK

She is a fantastic doctor who is extremely dedicated, professional and wise. She really cares about her patients. She has an extremely calm disposition which is always a plus, at least for me. If you can afford to see her, you won't be disappointed.
