Dr. Radvany has cared for me (a middle aged woman), my late husband who required a heart transplant (not all requiring transplants live to receive an organ transplant, unfortunately), and also my aunts, uncles, and currently my cousin and her husband. Some might find him not the most "hand holding, cuddly" type of doc, but if you want high level intelligent care you'll find it with Dr. Radvany. He does not hesitate to refer you on as appropriate to other medical specialists (ie not Internal Medicine or Cardiology, which he is board certified in both, something to note). He is not ego driven and always accessible. I have worked over 20 years in health care, although not in his town, hospital, etc., and highly recommend him. Just be an informed patient, come equipped with questions, lists of symptoms and allow him to put the pieces of the puzzle together to help you. A plus, Winchester Hospital is one of the best suburban Boston hospitals for most services. Superb nursing support and quick accommodation for testing based on need and urgency.
