This nursing staff are rude and dismissive, almost angry, and wait times with this Dr are awful!!!!

There are not enough words to honor Dr. Dye. He has helped me so much and has made great progress with my cancer. His personality is great and I completely trust Dr Dye with my treatment. We are very fortunate to have him in our area.

this idiot is incompetent and will not help patients, is not knowledgeable of the best for the patients, he only cares about money, not the patients, he has caused too many passings of patients, he will not even try to help patients, if patients do not have insurance, when patients do have insurance, he still will not help patients---let this be a warning, run like the wind to escape his incompetence. his sister, irene dy is incompetent, too, it runs in the family.

Dr. Phillip Dy is one of the best oncologist in the United States. We are fortunate to have his services in the small town of Effingham. My best friend was dying from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and he was able to treat her successfully. He is now treating me for Breast Cancer. You will never find a better, kinder,, Oncologist.

He recommended hospice to a friend 5+ years ago. Needless to say he did not settle for that recommendation and sought treatment elsewhere. He is still alive today, living a quality filled life. Always seek a second opinion.

Every visit included 5 to 10 minutes of him speaking of his accolades. I think he might be better suited to work in education vs practicing medicine and treating patients. One thing I have taken away from my experience is always seek a second opinion. Cancer Treatment options vary from oncologist to oncologist. Do your research so that you can make an informed decision about treatment options available to you.

Does not offer aggressive treatment options. Prefers to take a wait and see approach. I'm sensitive to a doctors time and Iam not one to bother a doctor after office hours or over a weekend. That being said I resent being advised to go to the ER when I do call during office hours with a problem. I have insurance and I am more than able to pay my medical bills. It is no wonder insurance companies and Medicare have put such tight reigns on medical practices. He needs to brush up on his ability to care for his patients especially since Medicare is now watching hospital re admissions.

Being diagnosised with cancer is depressing enough and visits with him were even more depressing. I personally did not feel he was very knowledgable. Should have sought treatment elsewhere. Small practice. Not current on technology or treatment.

Getting the 1st appointment was hard enough as no such luck without a refferal and then charges you $250 to tell you he has no help for you if you have no insurance.
