Summary
Dr. Murphy attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed his radiology residency at the University of Rochester – Strong Memorial Hospital in 1993. He served in the United States Air Force for four years as Chief of Radiology at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ. Before coming to EWBC in 2004, Dr. Murphy was a staff radiologist at the Cleveland Clinic Breast Center in Cleveland, OH, and was most recently the Director of Women’s Imaging at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ.
Currently, Dr. Murphy has served on Rochester Roentgen Ray Society for several years and is the past president, and participates in radiology committees for health care companies in our area.
He enjoys teaching and spends a considerable amount teaching the radiology fellows and residents that train at the Breast Center. Dr. Murphy enjoys lecturing to women’s groups in our region.
