I called to leave a message for the doctor. I wanted to know if he was going to do the surgery. No need of wasting my time or money. Then I called back and cancelled the up coming appointment. The nurse/assistance. Gave me the answer, he had no intention of helping me with my qualify of life. Looking for a doctor that actually cares.

Has intern working with him. She was very nice and so was he. The assistant is RUDE! Butts in when not being spoken to. Makes medical decisions and tells you(patient) what and if it will be. She making the decision for the doctor after you have spoken to him and your understanding is quite different from hers to what your plans are going forward with your treatment. Did not appreciate it at all! She needs to learn her place and if she is correct, I need to find a different doctor! She has blonde hair: just in case you see a different person.

I went to him to lift my bladder. He opened me up and never performed the surgery and the surgery wasn’t indicated on the surgery report. He sewed up a benign tumor when he was sewing me up which got infected. I went to another urologist who had to remove that. Then had to lift my bladder. Dr. Barksdale caused me to have 2 surgeries because of his incompetence..

Saved my life with his skills and compassion.

He staff is phenomenal. I always said a doctor’s staff can make or break you. He has the best. After suffering for years with bladder issues I’m very optimistic that he cares and is going to help me.

I had this problem for years. Started trying to get the repair done years ago. No doctor would take my case. When I was finally referred to Dr Barksdale it was a blessing. He listened to me, examined me and told me exactly what I had and what was needed to fix it. He was friendly and up front, never rude. Successful surgery.

Very good dr for his specialty. Only dr that Helped me after 2 years of suffering with post surgery pelvic pain. Explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Nurses are great too.

Extremely Rude! Treated my mom, not me. After meeting him, I begged her to get another doctor. He spoke about her as if she were a child and as if it were her fault for the problems she was having. No Sympathy whatsoever! He needs Jesus!

Did not find him rude at all - just highly intelligent. He spends quality time with patient. His nurse was very nice. I don't agree with other negative comments..
