I made an appt with Dr. Nayak because my primary care referred me to a neurosurgeon after a bad fall that resulted in a fractured sacrum and numbness at the tailbone, etc. The numbness has not subsided and at times seems worse. He was so dismissive like I was wasting his time and he didn't even go over with me what my MRI results were and what could be happening with my body and the numbness. He just said he wouldn't operate and I may or may not get better. I mean that's great if I don't need surgery but what is happening with me?! I'm actually terrified right now and don't know if I should go to the ER or if I'm overreacting. What are the signs I should be looking for? I didn't just decide to go see a neurosurgeon for the fun of it, my primary care thought it was urgent to see one. I'm really terrified right now and he offered no compassion or reassurance. If you do chose to see him, be prepare to call him out on his poor bedside manner. I did not and left feeling so defeated.

Dr . Nayak yes is a nice seems to be compassionate, courteous staff. I found this Dr. on a resource page for the medical condition we have been fighting, thought after appt. there was hope at the end of our rainbow , to only learn before follow up appt. and trouble shooting a concern he decided to end care 5pm on a Friday. WOW

Dr. Nayak is a very competent and caring physician. He always spends time answering my questions as well as giving clear and thoughtful answers. He has a wonderful beside manner.

Dr Nayak accepted me as a patient after I had suffered an MI while out of state. His care, COMPASSION, attention to detail, and professionalism contributed immesurably to my recovery and return to a "normal" lifestyle. The entire staff is always professional and courteous, tending to patients needs on an individual basis.
