Shes' good, unless you want someone that cares...

I have mixed opinions about Dr. Ramshesh. My father has brain cancer that he is fighting. When we went to her office she seemed to be knowledgeable and very informative about his condition and I even sensed a bit of humanity that can be hard to find. However, after that, she just kind of disappeared and lost track of him and his radiation treatment at another hospital. Her lack of care and compassion (true colors?) shined through when I had to have the nurse page her one Friday evening because he was having extreme issues with a fever and high blood sugar. When she finally called back she seemed annoyed and simply said "give him Tylenol". Didn't ask any questions about his condition or anything. This of course gave me a false sense of comfort that maybe this is not as serious as it looked, so I put him in bed and got up and went to work the next day. When I came home to check on him at lunch, he had fallen and had been lying there for 2 hrs. Called 911, ER, etc. Turns out he had a UTI and sepsis, so yea, would have been nice if she cared enough to ask more questions. But ever since then, he's been in the hospital and now nursing facility for 2 weeks since then, and haven't heard anything from her since. No attempt to set up with any tests or check on his condition. Nothing. And heaven forbid I page her again to try and talk to her. So if you're looking for a Dr that has a true interest in their patients, then look elsewhere...
