I was turned away by 2 other docs but then found Dr Prody. He did a 'rotor rooter' and I'm peeing like I'm 18 again!!!!
In office no scalpel vasectomy. 10 minute snip. Virtually painless. He also takes care of my parents. Easily best urologist in Brevard.
This Doctor ordered antibotics after doing a cyctostimey, and it could not be taken with another med he was taking. Was never advised and when asked, the doctor could not or would not explain. Perscription said take for 7 days, and he couldn't even tell us that he ordered it. Almost threw us out of the office because we were asking questions that he didn't like. I then cancelled all future appointments and changed doctors. No bedside manner at all and did not seem even knowledgable about writing the script. He said, "well, just take one.?? Not hardly an answer for someone undergoing a cystostomy. So the patient took no antibotics at all.
Straight to the point. Just gets results and I'm very well pleased with the repair work and new construction as well! Everything working like it was when 21 without the anxiety and stress of concern about failure.
Not many happy workers in the office.. I don't care for doctor.. got bladder infection < had to wait a week to get in.. so ended up going to someone else..If don't want surgery your frowned upon.. lets try natural stuff first which worked
Dr Prody took care of it. New man prosthesis. Thank you. BTW Vitals needs to update address. He has been at 575 S Wickham Rd, Suite A, W Melbourne, FL 32904 now for over 18 months....
I saw Dr Prody after other urologists had given up. I was wearing 9 diapers. He did a robot in my bladder. A bladder stimulator. I wear 1 diaper now. Thank you Sir!
I am very impressed with Dr. Prody and his staff. His bedside manner is very good, and his staff is very helpful and nice.
I have read the comments on this site and others about Dr. Borboroglu and his staff and I have to say that I strongly disagree with the fact that you call the staff " ghetto chicks"... That says a lot about the type of person they were dealing with and your character. None of us work in that office yet we are so quick to judge the job being done. I haven't been seeing Dr. Prody as they call him for very long but I do know that I have not been treated to so well by a staff and a Dr. in a long time. All of these complaints are ridiculous.. No one can make you or "push" you to do anything you don't want to do... If you haven't noticed the cost of healthcare has changed period. So what is that office supposed to do... Treat you for free... You chose the insurance that you have! Stop complaining and either see the Dr. and let him help you or deal with the care that your money can buy which is nothing. If you didn't follow up as directed more than likely it is your fault.. As my appointment was made when I checked out and after I had my surgery the lady that sits at the front, I forget her name but she called me and made my follow up appt.
only after your $ no follow up .almost as bad as his partner?
I have been going to Dr. Prody for 8 years. He is always very busy and spends very little time with me. He is also prone on pushing costly procedure on his patients that he does in his office. I am not very happy but have been going to Dr. Prody primarily because there are not a whole lot of urologists in this area.
I am so glad that Dr. Prody has opened his own practice and moved back to his old office. The only issue I have is where the office is located. The parking is terrible. However, since he has moved, Dr. Prody seems to have more control over my care and was able to spend more time with me. He is more relaxed and even laughed a few times during our visit. His staff seems to be in good spirits as well. They don't look like zombies. Everyone in that office has done a complete 360. I have never been to a Doctor's office where everyone is laughing and enjoying what they do. I feel so much better about my health even though its not good and I am often depressed, going to that office for what is making me sick me brings me comfort. Even though temporary I get to get away from it all within the hands treating me.
Have severe prostate problems that were mistreated/diagnosed by another MD in town. Dr Prody got it right. Worth the wait!!
Did office Vasectomy and was Great!! 10mins of surgery. Dr Prody has done thousands and is skilled. By the way Vitals needs to correct his address: 575 S. Wickham Rd., Suite A, W. Melbourne, FL 32904.
A terrible Doctor, cold and stiff. Staff is totally incompetent. He is concerned with what makes him money, not your health or outcome.
I was able to get in and have my Vasectomy in the office in under 10 days. Highly recommend Dr Prody.
He treated my prostate cancer. I'd go to Him anytime. Now cancer free.
Testosterone Pellets work very well!
Very efficient and quick staff. Now on testosterone with excellent results.
A very trust worthy MD. Enough said.
To Dissatisfied........My husband was a patient of Dr. Prody had a biopsy and was admitted to hospital..I thought that being his Doctor, He should have the decency to come in and talk to us about what he found..well he didn't..His associate would come in to check on my husband and he also said nothing about the biopsy...We as a family had to insist a Dr. come in and talk to us...Well She did...She showed us the biopsy report that said my Husband had prostate cancer that spread to his liver and my husband had 2 weeks live...TALK ABOUT BEING IN SHOCK....We took him home and he died 2 weeks to the day... .My husband had many complicated medical issues but that dosent justify the treatment he received from Dr. Prody...Also, make sure you have a copy of your "Power of Attorney" for your spouses medical if he/she is admitted to the hospital because no one will talk to you... ...My husband signed one at the hospital but it could not be found....
I got an appointment in just over a week when PSA was high. Not a fan of Doctors but the staff and the Doc made it a great experience.
Had radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer a few months ago. I am cured of the cancer and still have my erections and not wearing a diaper. Dont listen to all the hype over the robot. Dr Prody has done over 800 of these operations. What a great surgeon. Thank you!
Doctor Prody provided substandard care and didn't discuss any side effects of the medication that he prescribed. After researching it, there are numerous long term and irreversible side effects. It is shameful that he didn't mention ANY of them. I had an MRI done as part of my work up. My follow up appointment wasn't for 3 months, so I called to get the results of my MRI and I was told that it was normal. When I went for my follow up appointment, he told me that I had a "spot on my brain". Imagine my surprise since I had been told it was normal and now THREE MONTHS later find that I have a brain tumor. So he referred me to a neurologist. I waited 3 weeks and heard nothing. After calling the office numerous times to get them to send the referral and waiting 6 weeks (keep in mind this is a referral for a BRAIN TUMOR), the neurologist agreed to see me without the referral. Also, you wait FOREVER to see him. They schedule 4-5 patients at the same time, work you all up and put you in rooms and then you wait for him to come to you. What happened to spacing out patients to minimize wait times? If you go, plan to spend at least 2 hours in the office and about 5 minutes with the Doc and another 30 minutes waiting to make a follow up appointment. The office staff is horrible and the doctor is less than mediocre.
Certainly the best. Jefferson trained too from Philadelphia.
Very helpful for a difficult problem. Timely service and Dr Prody is so knowledgable. Thank you.
Increadible service. Best urologist in town. Thanks.
The office staff is horrible..when we first went in the nurse did not even know what treatments we were talking about with Kidney stones( she apologized and said she was usually in the cardiac ward? What the heck? Then we went back for his follow up we had an apt time of 11 am they told us to come back at 12. so we went to get a cup of coffee and when we came back EVERYONE in the office was gone!! Seriously they all went to luch,.REALLY? Why did they tell us to come back at 12 when they all went to lunch? So unprofessional , I can't recommend this office to anyone !!
I have read so many good and bad reviews, which has led me to the conclusion, that if he is interested in your case you get excellent care, if he is not interested in your case your care is way below standards. I saw him a couple of weeks, and he was in and out of the room so fast I was dazed. I was there to get antibiodics for a UTI, and to discuss getting a super pubic catheter put in to hopefully cut back on the amount of UTI's that come from using a standard catheter. When the medical assistant came in I asked her if he had prescribed the same antibiodic as in the past because it worked well for me, come to find out he forgot to prescribe the antibiodic's, so when he came back into the room I asked him what the plan of action was for getting the super pubic catheter put in, his words were he was going to consult my PCP for high priority appointment as the only appointment I could get with my PCP was to far off in the future, and then he said he was going to have the radiologist who was going to do the procedure contact me, ( I could not believe that after all of this, my Urologist would not even be performing the procedure, but you can bet he was going to receive a fee for setting all of this up ). So we get home and a little over a week goes by and I have heard nothing from a radiologist or my PCP about a high priority appointment, now we might as well keep our original appointment with my PCP as it is no longer to far in the future, and my PCP will have to put me in touch with the radiologist, because Dr Prody's office dropped the ball again. This was just my last visit, the visit before that he set appointment's for 2 procedure's that I felt were unnecessary, I will definitely be getting a second opinion on as soon as I find a Urologist to replace Dr. Prody. If there was any way I could give him a lower rating than a 1, you better believe I would do it in a heartbeat.
Was referred to office. The staff was very abrasive. They only seem to be interested in my insurance and not what my issue was. Would not even make an appointment until they got my insurance information.
Fantastic result. Thanks.
He did my husbands vasectomy in office in 15min. He has most experience in Brevard for office vasectomy. Good Navy training. Great urologist.
Dr. Prody is a verg thorough doctor who listens to his patients and is always places the patients health first and will make sure the patient fully understands their diagnosis, steps that can be taken, and the risks/dangers. He also doesn't seem to be biased in the treatment of his patients because of the type of medical insurance they have.
Not Recommended! No post-op follow-up after procedure; left the hospital and no where to be found. Poor Patient Care!
Doctor and staff tried to manipulate patient into spending nearly $5000 more than was necessary. Run, don't walk from this doctor.
He is the best trained urologist in Brevard county. He did my radical prostatectomy in 1.5 hours and I got out of the hospital in 2 days. I have zero incontinence and my erections are intact! Don't get fooled about all the hype with the robot. Outcomes are much better with a well trained urologist who knows how to do an open radical prostatectomy. Surgery was 1 month ago and I am already back on the golf course. He also is the leading expert in the area on HIFU for prostate cancer.
Took a while to diagnose my IC. Once we did I was set up on 2 meds - Antispasmodic and Elmiron. Elmiron made my hair fall out - so I told him I was trying Herbal remedies w/ the Antispas. He was not interested in "non FDA regulated" options and "would not comment on them." He didn't even write down which ones I took (which should still be important to any Dr. for counteraction reasons) Went back to change the antispas as it is not strong enough, and to discuss alternative options of treating IC. Prody seemed irritated at my knowledge/research of my own condition, and only offered 1 alternative - which he had samples of. Didn't seem too thrilled with other options like antihistamines or antidepressants, although they have been used by other Urologists to treat IC. I had to push the issue and ask that I not be given only what he has samples of again, but what is best for my treatment regime.Overall, very stingy with his approach - and staff although very nice - can't get their act together when faxing/phoning in Rx's. Took them 4, count you FOUR tries to get one Rx correctly over to my pharmacy over the course of 2 weeks! I am seeking out another Urologist who is more open minded to ALL treatment avenues and cares about what I am ingesting.
Dr. Prody is an excellent urologist! He is caring, has awesome bedside manners and spends as much time as needed to go over whatever issues you are having with you. He is extremely smart and stays up to date on all the new medical technologies and procedures. He is also an excellent surgeon. Additionally, he has an excellent staff. Just when I was about to give up, Dr. Prody gave me my life back! Thank you Dr. Prody!!
I was recently seen in the ER for a kidney stone and Dr Prody was able to see me in his office that same day and break up the stone later that week. Very courteous office staff. Thank you.
I had a nasty embarrassing problem. Dr Prody Borboroglu was fantastic. Highly recommend this outstanding Urologist.
My wait was only 20mins. He was very caring and fixed my problem. Thanks.
I was turned away by other urologists in the area stating they had no further options for my severe urinary urgency and frequency. I even had to wear pads for the incontinence. Dr Prody cured me with an Interstim Implant. It feels like I have been let out of prison. Thank you Dr Prody!!
I first met Dr. Prody after finding out I had kidney stones while in HRMC ER. I did not have a regular urologist and he was recommended. He was very professional and compasionate. He was very thorough and explained everything. He made me feel relaxed and eased any concerns I might of had. It was determined through a CT scan that I had a huge stone, impossible to pass, therefore had to be surgically removed. Again, Dr. Prody performed the surgery with no complications. If you are in need of a competent urologist, do not hesitate to use him. I would highly recommend him.
Was highly impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Prody and his staff. Was surprised with the amount of time he spent talking to me and getting a good understanding of my condition. Presented all alternatives in an objective and patient manner. I am highly impressed with Dr. Prody and am extremely happy I have become his patient.
He is the only urologist on the east coast of Florida offering HIFU a ground breaking procedure for prostate cancer. Outstanding urologist.
Dr. Prody was very easy to talk to and informative to my first experience in my condition. He also went out of his way to accept my insurance which was out of his normal provider guidelines which was a tremendous help to me financially. I feel very secure in my upcoming surgery with him.
He got me peeing again!! Thank you.
Dr. Borboroglu (ie, Dr. Prody) is a wonderful physcian. It's obvious he enjoys what he does. Intelligent, highly skilled, great communication skills and superb bedside manner. The Space Coast is fortunate to have him. Do not hesitate to trust him with your urological problem. He helped me get my life back.
He is the best urologist on the central east coast of Florida
He is a very polite and knowledgable urologist.
