I had Dr. V as my anesthesiologist and loved his personality. I was immediately comfortable with him taking care of me. My husband, however, grilled him for what seemed like a long time about the risks and benefits and complications of anesthesia and asked lots of scientific questions. What the doctor didn't know was that my husband was basically "testing" him and trying to get him annoyed. He never got annoyed and much to my husband's liking he was able to give the research behind anesthesia and quote some studies, facts, and data. My husband finally told him that he was a researcher who does anesthesia research and that he was impressed. Dr. V just smiled and told him point blank: "thank God I didn't make any of the facts up." We all got a good laugh and that eliminated much of my anxiety but not my embarrassment with my spouse. Anesthesia was wonderful .

I was scared s#%^less of the anesthesia since I woke up my last two times during surgery. This doc took time and explained to me what was gonna happen and answered all my questions. Great anesthesia. Didn't vomit all day and night like my other times. No pain until three days later

Saved my life .

I have had Dr. Vaishnani many times as my anesthesiologist and am always impressed by his skill, calming bedside manner, and dedication. He always seems to go the extra mile to make my surgical experience better. All of my doctors tell me that when they need anesthesia they will request Dr. Vaishnani to take care of them and their families. One surgeon told me he is the only Anesthesiolgist he allows to touch his patients
