I had been in an automobile accident. I was in excruciating pain. When Dr. Voorhies asked how my pain was I was trying to explain to him how much Pain I was in and I started to tear up and Dr. Voorhies said to me in a cold and callus voice, “if you cry I am going to get up and leave.” Needless to say I never went back to his office. I give him a big zero rating

After years of pain i was introduced to Dr Voorhies through a family friend, i had my surgery 5 yrs ago . It was the best decision i have ever made . No more pain . I am a welder by trade and can perform my job better than before. He has changed my life . I will forever be thankful for what he done for me. He has an amazing practice and have recomended him to several friends for surgery and they have been succesful .

Surgeon with a very big EGO. Does not listen to patient who has less than stellar results from his handiwork. Tried to discribe residual pain following cervical spine surgery, and he actually said, "Oh that can't be". Wants only patients with 100% success stories.

Since becoming a patient of Dr. Rand Voorhies over a year ago, Ive experienced nothing but attentive care, professionalism, and optimal customer service from his administrative staff. I would highly recommend someone to his practice. My overall experience has been excellent, Dr Voorhies warm smile and witty sense of humor has help heal me inwardly as well as physically. Dr. Voohries is the best medical doctor I have ever received care from in my life.

I don't doubt Dr. Voorhies capabilities as a neurosurgeon. He had a long, successful career at Ochsner Medical. Being a good doctor, however, also requires a certain amount of social skills. Dr. Voorhies has a curt, unfriendly manner. He seemed angry and impatient with me after only just meeting me. I did nothing to aggravate him. He is just a disagreeable person.

Fabulous!! Changed my life. I'd seen many neurosurgeons before who had been unable to help me. After my back operation I am pain free and back to my normal activities.
