I saw Dr. Anandakrishnan, or as he is referred to by his office help, Dr. Krishnan. As a doctor, he is insensitive to your needs and so is his front office help. They are 'front office help' because not one of the 2 women at the Maiden Choice Lane office know much about medicine of patient service. The one woman who was helping the doctor was rude when I asked her about labwork after my appointment. She considered it more important to read the texts on her cell phone and talk to a patient about restaurants who was lingering around the front desk after her appointment. This woman was talking to the patient before my appointment and carried on the conversation afterward when it was time for me to check out. None of the conversations were medical or appointment oriented but the personal conversation about restaurants seemed a lot more important to her than my medical questions. Her incompetence extends even further when she could not take the time to do my vitals correctly. Why… you ask? It's because her cell phone kept buzzing in her pocket and she was more interested in leaving the room to look at her texts. As for Dr. Anandakrishnan, he spent exactly 8 minutes with me in the exam room. AND the incompetent front office help knocked on the door and asked him what he wanted for lunch because was getting ready to call in an order. Dr. Anandakrishnan asked 2 questions and never even had my chart that my PCP faxed over to his office in front of him. The entire visit from start to finish was unprofessional and a waste of my time. I called my PCP from the parking lot and explained the situation to her and she referred me to another hematologist who really did care for me as a patient. Dr. Anandakrishnan should be ashamed of the way he and his staff treats their patients as I am sure that I am not the only one who has experienced the unprofessionalism in his Maiden Choice Lane office. So, if your doctor refers you to Dr. Anandakrishnan, heed my advice, ASK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR!
