I chose her b/c I knew I would be older (mid 30's) when I decided to have children and thought it would be best to use someone that was a RE as well as a gynecologist. I only had one issue with her as a gyne: a pap came back abnormal and it was bc they tested it incorrectly. I had to come back and pay for a redo b/c they said I should have known I can't get a pap at that time in my cycle? They never gave any indication that I needed to test on certain days. On the RE side, I appreciated her honesty and candidness at first but when I actually tested with low AMH, she was far from helpful. I saw her for about 5 years and she repeatedly reminded me how old I was (early 30s) and how in India, 24 is considered ancient when having a child. She would go on her tirades about how women wait to have children and why their babies have problems because they wait and how we all cry when we realize having a baby is harder than we thought. Once I was tested with low AMH, her response was more "I told you so" instead of giving me a plan of attack. Susie is friendly but all she would tell me to do was "get on it" and "make love" (cringe - I hated when she called it that) as much as possible. When I asked them about OPKs, I was rushed through and was given conflicting advice. I switched to Dr. Rinehart at CDH and on visit one, armed with my results from Dr. Jabamoni, he gave me an instant plan of attack. He never once made me feel old, like I've lost time or that it was hopeless. I ended up getting pregnant on the first try without any fertility medication.
Had very bad experience with her and her staff...misleads..doesn't treat patients well..for her and her staff it's all about money..wasted 2 years of my life and emotions and family stress...please do not go to her..thanks.
Dr. Jabamoni is the BEST, she cares, and shows concern for her patients. They don't come like her anymore. I love her as if she was one of my family members.and on top of all of that; SHE IS BEAUTIFUL
Go elsewhere. There are so many other doctors out there that can give you quality treatment. This doctor is soooo behind the times in addressing infertility. The staff is uninformed too -- and not at all nice. Lots of mistakes that cost me money and time but at least not my health. I realized just how uninformed they were after I got positive results elsewhere. They try to talk a good game but don't have the results to prove it. Go to a leading fertility specialist that has documented proof of their success rates. Good luck to you.
DR JABAMONI CAUSED ME TO GO INTO OVARIAN HYPERSTIMULATION. I SWELLED UP WITH 40 LBS OF WATER, HAD WATER ON MY LUNGS, COULDN'T BREATH. WHEN MY CYCLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO MY BLOOD LEVELS, SHE PROCEEDED WITH IVF. I HAD 32 EGGS IN MY ONE OVARY. THEY HAD TO RETRIEVE ALL THE EGGS SINCE LEAVING THEM IN WOULD SECRETE MORE HORMONES AND MAKE ME EVEN SICKER. I WOULDN'T LET HER TOUCH ANYONE I LOVE.
I want to express how great dr Jabamoni is and her great staff. They are really attentive to my needs. very courteous. the Dr. is very experienced and to the point and I love that about her....
Fantastic Doctor and staff! Extremely friendly and willing to go out of their way to meet your needs
I went to Dr. J after meeting with another local fertility specialist that felt like a used car salesman and immediately wanted to sell me IVF. I was uncomfortable with such a quick diagnosis and went for a second opinion with Dr. J. She suggested we start with an IUI. Her staff was absolutely amazing and I felt like they knew me and cared about me in only one visit. Appointments were easy to make - I did most before 8am so rarely had to wait. I was blessed to have success on my first IUI w/Clomid and now have twins! But most importantly, her staff went out of the way to make sure that my results were given to me immediately - even after office hours on a Saturday! I can't rate her success with IVF, but I felt like a patient that they truly cared about, which I think contributed to the success of the procedure.
Very discerning in diagnosis and care! Very skilled hands during surgery! Thank you Dr. Jabamoni! I now have two beautiful children!!
I spend more than 2 years wasting to go through expensive IVF process when we had different issues. Doc seems to focus what can make the clinic more profit :(
Dr. Jabamoni is a wonderful dr.! If anyone tells you otherwise they dont know what they are talking about. We had been to another dr. In Tinley Park and were told by him AFTER we went through the stim process for IVF that we couldnt have children. After taking 2 of my friends advice we went to Dr. J. We were fortunate that our first round of ivf took. We now have a beautiful 20 month old daughter. We are going through our 3rd ivf process now. Our 2nd did not take. I dont understand how people can blame Dr J for their failed attempts. She is a dr. A medical profession. There is no guarantee that is will work. I think people forget all of the paperwork they have to sign with ivf. If there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee label then more people would do this. But there is not. Dr. J is not there to be your best friend. She is someone there to help you TRY and have a baby or whatever you may be there for. She will tell you how it is. No sugar coating there. But she is very complete. I do agree at times some of her staff is a bit rough. But my overall experience from beginning to end is a great one. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
After consulting with her and not going anywhere we realized that the staff was only prompt in scheduling your next appt and running the lab tests,so they can bill the insurance company. The staff was rude and once send the bill to collection agency before they send out the bill. After confronting the office staff in front of several patients and the doctor, did they accept that fact. One of the worst caring gync ever come across. Avoid at all costs
Dr J literally saved my life in 2004. I did ivf w/a differeent DR & he didn't know what he was doing & almost killed me, I had severe Ovarian hyper stimulation (OHS) & was in ICU for 2 weeks. Dr J swooped in & bnot only saved my life, but saved my ovaries. 6 months later, she implaned 2 embryos & I gave birth to my baby girl! Dr J is a 2hr communte from where I live now, so I have tried 3 other ivf Dr's since then & none of them come close to her expertise. She is our angel & we thank god for her every day---she gave us our family.
You can choose to go to her if you want to deal with her screwed up office staff, mess up with your insurance company and pay for worthless service.Three of my friends including me had gone through IVF cycle and all of them were unsuccessful. She did transfer as if planes were arriving and departing in the gate. Careless and no words from her after the transfer.
I just love Dr. J. I am currently with her for IVF treatment - at her Loyola office - it was successful! :) She did, and continues to do, a wonderful job! I don't know what happened with Mary N., but…
The WORST OB/GYNE ever!! Don't waste your time or money. Not helpful in any way. On paper she looks good, NOT! She made me feel that my problems were not worth her time.
I've never been to such a great Gyne. She's so thorough and really is so strong, smart and keeps it real. You can ask her any question and she will answer you straight out. Almost like an aunt, or…
