Dr. Reginald Colin Wm Bell, MD

I have an endless list of positive to things to say about Dr. Bell and the Institute of Esophageal and Reflux Surgery as a whole. Dr. Bell is attentive to my needs and an absolute expert in the field. I've struggled with reflux for 25 years and seen countless physicians. Dr. Bell has been one of the most creative and patient while addressing my symptoms. My high quality of life is thanks to him. If anyone I love or care about experiences reflux, he will always be the doctor I recommend. Kate Freeman and the other team members are all kind and responsive as well. Whenever I have questions they promptly get back to me on the phone or via email. They ensure I am always comfortable with my procedures and know exactly what to expect prior to and after the surgery. This office is incredible.

Dr. Bell is simply the best. He truly cares and helped me a great deal with my GERD. Highly recommend this Doctor !

Not a happy patient. I have had stomach and other problems since my surgery and have not gotten any real help or answers as to what has gone wrong since my surgery. I tried contacting them twice by email messages and twice by phone messages, all which went unanswered. Finally got a return call from a nurse who gave my message and complaints to Kate. After that all follow ups stopped and I was left hanging. Seeing a new doctor who is taking my problems seriously, and working hard to find out what is causing all my health issues that started after the surgery. I do not recommend them at this time. Definitely not enough Dr. patient interaction after surgery.

Never takes responsibility for mistakes or complications that occur during his surgery on you. He dismisses your ongoing complications and shows no compassion what-so-ever. He does the surgery, invoices the insurance and then tells you there is no need to make another appointment with him or anyone on his staff. Heartless and I believe he could be dangerous because of his arrogance to admit something might have gone wrong during the surgery.

I went to Dr. Bell after a year of having stomach issues and ulcers on my esophagus. Dr. Bell had me do several tests to determine what was going on. After discussions we decided to do laparoscopic fundoplication surgery. It is working so far. I'm so glad that I had the surgery. His staff is also wonderful and very helpful in answering questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. Bell and his office.

For the past 1 1/2 years, I have undergone treatment for a pretty bad form of GERD in Reno, NV. My existing GI told me after my last EGD not to come back until I had the Nissen Fundoplication surgery. Since that time, I have been trying to get a doctor to help me with surgical options. I have traveled to Denver to see Dr. Bell due to his expertise and the friendliness of his staff. Dr. Bell is the only one who listened and is doing something about my conidition. Both he and Kate - the Nurse Practitioner - are amazing individuals!! They completely understand what I am going through and their entire staff is courteous and accommodating beyond compare. I highly recommend Dr. Bell and his office for their services and am excited for the years to come.

you have to wait to see doctor, staff NOT friendly. When you see doctor after he gives his opinion if you don't decide to go with it he's out of room can't talk with him on the phone about diagnosis.. only cares about money
