Dr. Richa Vohra, MD

Absolutely fantastic

I have been under the care of several doctors, all who have helped ease my pain, one issue at a time based on their specialty. Dr. Richa was able to diagnose all of my issues and provided a variety of suggestions. I never feel rushed, and she listens to every little detail I mention. She is positive and has excellent bedside manners, unlike the other specialists I've seen (who were male-please don't take offence, it's just my opinion based on MY experience). I have not worked for over a year and have lost 2 jobs due to my pain issues, which were supposedly only due to herniated discs. My previous doctors prescribed dangerous pain killers and injected me with steroids, but nothing completely eased my pain. I even begged two surgeons to perform back surgery, but my symptoms weren't consistent with my diagnosis. I wasted money with non-effective treatments and appointments...and gas to travel far distances for over 2 years. I have now been able to work for nearly a month after… seeing Dr. Richa for almost 3 months! Dr. Praveen also helped by performing foot surgery to remove bunions and 3 broken bones that I never knew I had, but were one of the reasons for my back and leg pain. I remember having foot pain when I was younger, but just thought it was due to working in a fast paced environment all day. Apparently it was from falling down the stairs while drinking wine 13 years ago! The boned were so destroyed that they had to be removed. This husband/wife team is wonderful and if it wasn't for them, I would still suffer in pain with difficulty maintaining a job.
