Dr. Babayan has treated me for 30 years now for a variety of what proved to be conditions that ranged from non-threatening to serious, but readily treatable, to the removal of a cancer that could have curtailed my life. He is clearly dedicated, knowledgable, hard-working, a very skillful surgeon bent on the most non-invasive techniques and technologies to effect successful results. I am completely satisfied there is no better urologist available in the country.
Dr. Babayan is an outstanding surgeon with the perfect balance of talent, skills, and experience. With Dr. Babayan you feel it in your heart that he cares for his patients wellbeing and quality of life.
do not go to this doctor - underneath his "caring" manner is deceitfulness and lies. He was going to do a spinal on me even though we had just agreed not to because it could cause me paralysis - if I hadn't caught it in the paperwork he would have done it with no regard to my safety. Then he completely misrepresents the operation by having his residents explain it which they didn't explain well. He told me there would be no complications whatsoever even though i hammered him into telling me what could go wrong. His answer was "I've done this a thousand times and everyone is well - nothing can go wrong". He avoided telling me any specifics of what could go wrong because he knew I wouldn't do this operation that his residents wanted to see. Despite my express dictation that a resident could not touch me, one did the operation and left me with lifelong pain and disability. Dr. Babayan literally abandoned me after the operation. Other urologists (6) all criticised him on many factors. I am left with lifelong penis pain that at times is unbearable. I have to use crutches at least 2 days a week because of the scar tissue the operation caused hitting the groin nerves. I have seizures while urinating because of the scar tissu. My muscles contract and won't let go which is agonizing. The operation hit the pelvic muscle which makes me totally constipated because my bowels don't move. he butchered the bladder valve so that urine is always in the urethra and leaks all over the placeNOW I WENT IN TO HAVE A LITTLE PEICE OF TISSUE REMOVED AND THIS IS ONLY PART OF WHAT I ENDED UP WITH. HE OF COURSE SAYS IT IS ALL IN MY HEAD. I HAVE SEEN CLOSE TO 30 SPECIALISTS - ALL SAY THE OPERATION HAS CAUSED MY PROBLEMS AND THAT THEY ARE UNFIXABLE - I WANTED TO TRAVEL IN MY RETIREMENT AND NOW INSTEAD I HAVE TO LIE DOWN BY 6 PM EVERY DAY TO RELIEVE THE PENIS PAIN - I HAVE NO LIFE
