Dr. Besser is very helpful, he has achieved success both as a director of the CDC and as a researcher in his field. His push to put restrictions on Core Blood Banks and his constant investigation into medical controversies are extremely helpful. There is absolutely NO evidence that vaccines cause autism, to think so is very ignorant of people. Last time I checked, many of the kids have their vaccines up to date, are they all autistic? No, so for all of you anti-vaccine ignorant people out there can you explain that? No I don't think so.

I found your comments on GMA regarding the massive increase in numbers of autistic children, disgraceful!! You referred to parents, "wanting spepial education" for their kids. If you had any REAL information, you would know that public education offers little to no services available for autistic kids.The increase is real, the causes are still not known, although: vacinating babies less than 24 hours old for hepetitis is horrific;MMR shots and other vaccinations DO play a role, especially if there is a predisposition;environmental concerns are real, not imagined and finding the real answers and remedies are critical.You need to educate yourself on this unbelievable epidemic!!
