March 29th, 2012Think First Before Scheduling
Our HMO sent my husband to Dr. Cerruti because of infertility problems with have been having. It took a lot of courage for my husband to go. Dr. Cerruti was an inconsiderate, unknowledgeable man who told my husband he was too young to have the problem he has. Obviously, my husband is not to young because he does in fact have this problem. It was the most uncomfortable, disheartening, unproductive experience. Dr. Cerruti is a senior citizen, and it's time for him to retire or refuse young patients who need fertility help. I strongly encourage anyone seeking infertility help to not see him because it's already an emotional time. You don't need a doctor to make it worse. Furthermore, I don't think Dr. Cerruti even deserves a medical license. It's time for it to be revoked.
September 29th, 2011Excellent physician
Was referred to Dr. Cerruti by primary care doctor with high PSA. He conducted a biopsy and diagnosed cancer. He helped set up referrals to other doctors to discuss treatment options. He was available to discuss options and has been my primary doctor for follow up visits. Was willing to spend the time with me to discuss the pros and cons of all the options (seeds, radiation, surgery). I opted for proton beam at Loma Linda. I found him knowledgeable, frank no nonsense and caring.

April 4th, 2010Bright, Knowledgable, and a true Professional
Dr Cerruti is a bright, well educated and well versed physician. He is a mentor to other doctors in his field and is well respected. When I called around to find a urologist he was recommended by my primary doctor and the local medical university. He was great and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great urologist.
August 3rd, 2009Terrible Bedside Manner
Dr. Cerruti is an old school 'cutter'. Not familiar with any of the newer surgical techniques such as robotic assisted surgery and therefore pooh-pooh's them in favor of the scalpel. He is very aloof and talks down to the patient. Gets upset if patient gets copy of biopsy results or goes out on the internet to gain knowledge of the disease.Pushes patient for immediate surgery without adequate tests to verify that cancer has not metastasized. "Are you willing to risk your life waiting for test results?"Don't waste your time with this doctor!
