December 28th, 2015Worked with Richard Gaard, M.D.A.
Outstanding anesthesia practitioner in Minneapolis, MN. Also know as an auto mechanic and race car driver. His original tinkering with his good friend Richard Dahlberg, who was a pioneer in hearing aide technology, resulted in building their "micro-circulatory correlator" (an instrument to be able to monitor capillary perfusion while under anesthesia). This instrument was the origin of today's Pulse Oximetry technology, which is standard of care in every hospital in the country. (Little acknowledged history!!)
