A botched up surgery on my dad with severe dementia landed him in the hospital with a severe infection that backed up into his kidneys. Infection a result of dr Gilbert. Multiple calls to Gilbert by family and even hospital ER were never returned for several days. It's a long story but in the end this infection was too much for my dads weak body and was sent home on hospice and given a short time to live. Gilbert performed a senseless surgery. Took the insurance money and now my dad is dying. This is all in just 3 weeks time. Prior to needless surgery my dad was walking, talking, eating and content and coping with severe dementia quite well. I hold Gilbert responsible for my dad

I am a R.N. I have been in nursing for 30 years. A close relative of mine was diagnosed with bladder cancer last year. He underwent chemotherapy ordered by Dr. Gilbert, who interestingly enough is not an oncologist. Dr. Gilbert cancelled 3 appointments over a 6 week period of time. He finally has a cystoscopy which showed recurrence of bladder cancer. He was told that Dr. Gilbert is " very busy" and that his cancer was " low grade" and he shouldn't worry about it. In my personal opinion, Dr. Gilbert should not practice urology and his office staff needs to exercise empathy. Shame
