Dr. Richard Andrew Schoor, MD

I have to tell you my biggest problem with the doctor wasn't him it was his staff. Well I have to say his new staff is fantastic, professional and they get it done. Basically same great doctor brand new great staff. Dr. Schoor is a smart thorough compassionate man who knows his stuff.

Dr Richard Schoor altered my life and improved its quality. Instead of giving antibiotics easily he spent enormous time diagnosing my condition. Since meeting him I have needed NO antibiotics. Dr Schoor has treated me for over a decade and thankfully my health has improved. Also the staff is professional and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.

Saw him once will never go back there touch me so hard, cement came out my genital, and the pain that come and goes after the visit. please stay away

I believe that Dr. Schoor is a capable doctor. However, he is a sole practitioner and my experience and observations over several years is that he may be over zealous to perform procedures in order to make his salary/cover his expenses, etc. Doctors in groups are less likely to over diagnose and "treat" conditions. He would be better off joining a group and I'm sure that is where he will end up in the future. For this reason, he receives a "poor" rating. I am so happy that I realized this and changed doctors!!!

After being misdiagnosed for a zillion years I was lucky enough to meet Dr Schoor. A doctor who listens, hears and cares, My life changed drastically with his care and compassion. Misdiagnosed infections which left me resistant to most antibiotics, Dr Schoor is professional and so informative too, I've recommended everyone I know to him and they too agree with my opinion. A great person too

Excellent experience with Dr Schoor

This doctor saw me for only 2 minutes and was least bothered to explain anything. He lacks manner and professionalism. Please go and find sime other doctor.

The most knowledgeable, patient and educated doctor!! Great bedside manner, explains everything and truly cares! He even called us back on a weekend while he was away to answer questions and we were a new patient he had never seen before. Never rushes us out. Totally recommend him!

Biopsy results accurate but inadequate pre-surgical instructions for the biopsy. Severe post biopsy infection. He left hospital in a hurry after biopsy to return to his practice when I was in urinary retention.Hospital released me when I was still in urinary retention. Web search indicated retention was medical emergency so I go to his office. Schoor broke Foley catheter inside me in his office in effort to resolve retention. Never looked for broken fragments inside me. No lidocaine when inserting catheters. Yanked catheter out quickly causing severe pain and bleeding. Lost blood work drawn at his office. No PSA measurements for what turned out to be advanced prostate cancer. Maybe I had misfortune of catching him on a few bad days or he was doing procedures out of his knowledge or comfort zone. Regardless, I do not want to risk returning and can not recommended him. Staff efficient but cold and uncaring.
