Excellent first experience with Dr. Schumann. I feel I am in good hands with him.

ZERO STARS. I visited Richard Schumann and was extremely disappointed with my experience. He misdiagnosed me and told me that I was perfectly fine when I had a severe neurological condition. His lack of attention to detail and expertise led me to suffer for a year (and counting), thinking that everything was alright. He was not willing to listen to my concerns and didn't take the time to properly diagnose me. He seemed more interested in getting me out of his office than in providing an accurate diagnosis. I would not recommend Richard Schumann to anyone, and I advise others to be very cautious before seeking treatment from him. He is not a professional in his field and does not take the patients' concerns seriously.

This person Does not Know anything. He is Dumb and wants to put patients on meds without diagnosing them. he looks dizzy and sleepy all the time. Be aware people!!!!!!!!!!!! he just collects your money and doesn't care about your health. he is a good businessman not a Doctor!

Worst experience ever. Told him about my neck pinching my nerve leaving my temporarily paralyzed, and this so called Doctor tried to tell me it was sleep paralysis when it happened in the middle of the day watching tv. He didn't listen to me telling him about the nerve damage in my lumbar making me lose feeling in my legs and abdomen. He then told me to worry about it once I start urinating & defecating myself. Well that start 6 months ago, and I was hoping not to end up in a wheelchair. I wasn't even using a cane yet on my first visit. Guess who no longer uses a cane and is in a wheelchair? Me the answer is me and He should lose his Medical License. I need a good lawyer to make sure he can not do more damage to the public like he did me! He also refused to give me a referral to a Neurosurgeon or second opinion!

I had not been in touch with a neurologist since moving to CA from east coat. Dr Schumann help me get get started on my medicine again and even got me in a program so the drug company to pay for it. He is a lifesaver and has given me back my piece of mind as I continue to fight this disease.

I saw Dr. Schumann for poor sleep quality. He ordered blood tests, did a physical exam and discussed my medical history. He took the complaint seriously and put a rush into the insurance company for a sleep study. I loved the sleep center he referred me to. I have had 2 previous studies and this was the best place yet. The sleep study results came back that I had some new issues. Within 3 days of getting the results back I was contacted by a DME. It was a great hassle free and quick resolution experience.

Very thorough, made me feel at ease
