i've seen many-many doc's over the years but no one can hold a candle to dr. richard. i was his patient for over 12 yrs & i cant find anyone who comes close to his knowledge, skill or personality. he earned my respect & trust on my very 1st visit. not only did he know current treatments for my condition but was up-to-date on new & experimental treatments as well. not enough doc's bother to keep up after they graduate. i ended up having one of the experimental surgeries. god knows he earned retirement but i still miss him. he always made me laugh. YOU ARE MISSED DOC.

Dr. Richard Scott is perhaps the model Doctor of Osteopathy. His specialty, according to online search criteria, apparently is the spine. However, Dr. Scott has demonstrated extensive knowledge about foot pathology, (my particular condition), as well as other pathology such as arm numbness, (whether the condition manifests itself as a related symptom or not). It follows, Dr. Scott treats the entire patient, not just particular symptoms, which by definition, is what a D.O. is charged to do. You may not find a doctor who has more genuine concern for the patient as well as detailed knowledge about pathology and treatment protocol, whether it involves the skeletal orthopaedic function, neurology, pharmacology, or other aspects of medicine. And, from experience, he is a skilled surgeon who has displayed more patience and mechanical skill than I would have ever expected. If a patient has a problem that requires surgery, Dr. Scott has demonstrated mechanical aptitude typically atributed to that of an engineer, with respect to surgical planning.
