During my pregnancy, I called from work with a concern, hoping they would see me on short notice, as I was already stressed and scared. The nurse got back to me, telling me to go to ER and hung up. They never offered a referral or followed up. They just don't care!

Absolutely the BEST dr I’ve ever had. When he left WNY I was devastated. No one will ever measure up to his standards. When I miscarried, he went way above and beyond and cared about me and how I was doing after. Subsequent pregnancies...he watched me like a hawk to make sure all went well. Three kids later who are all grown up now....I can’t imagine anyone else being the person to deliver my kids. The best, best ever.

He is more concerned with his time than hearing your concerns. Very impersonal, youre just a means tp a paycheck to him. He may not have always been like this, but i personally would rather a home birth over having him deliver my child. Horrible bedside manner and simply rude.

If it wasn't for Dr. Summermatter, I would not have my son. He is a gifted doctor that listens and gets to the bottom of the issue. He has an amazing bedside manner and really cares about you. Please come back to New York Dr. Summermatter!!!!

Dr.Summermatter was my OB when I had my last child in1995.He and his staff are thorough,genuine,and his expertise in diagnostics is noteworthy.Dr.Summermattertreats his patients in a holistic manor,spends all the time you may need during a problem visit,never hurrys you along or deflects problems that need to be addressed.He is one of two very special physicians I have been graced with knowing. You may have to wait a little longer in the waiting room because he gives each patient the attention and care they need,patients are not hurried through his office like machines,good care takes time.
