Dr. Ritu Kaur Chahil-Miglani, MD

I'm difficult to understand, and she understood me! I felt comfortable introducing my husband and mother to her (she was fine with allowing them to participate in our visits). I only get along with intelligent people. They understand me. I do not believe these negative reviews. (You can believe whatever you want, but I'm just saying what I experienced.) I am very curious about which mental issues these other reviewers have. Doctor Chail DID listen to me, and she WAS very practical. I am so sad that her contract has ended with my care facility.

I have never felt more ignored by a doctor than with this one. She absolutely does not listen to a patient’s concerns or experiences and is incredibly dismissive. She is pretentious and is quick to conclude that you don’t know what you’re talking about or feeling. I’m glad I never have to see her again.

This is one of the worst experiences that I have had in over 16 plus years of recieving behavioral health treatment! She is confirmation for me that Dr.s really don't give a half of a duck about the well being of patients with mental disabilities!

I don’t know that I’ve ever had a psychiatrist before that is so terrible at listening to what her patients are telling her. She decided to place me on a medicine that’s in a group I’ve shown signs of severe reactions to before. Decided to do it anyway. I tried to tell her the symptoms it caused me to have and she continuously insists it’s just my depression. It’s not. Then she decided, after 3 weeks of absolute torture on that medication, to finally switch me to something else that would make me tired and increase my appetite. I’m obese. My quality of sleep is even worse than before, I’m hungry all the time, and she was too busy ignoring me to hear that I’m on another new medicine from my PCP. Would not recommend. The nurse/assistant that takes my weight and blood pressure has more sense than she does. Be warned she is not good at dealing with patients showing any emotion. She is in no way trained to be a therapist and anything bothering you mentally should be brought… up with a therapist, not Dr. Miglani.

I wanted to trust and respect this person, but after several months of inappropriate, very impolite reckless service I switched clinics and I am much better. Untrustworthy scum, should be imprisoned for the treatment that has been dealt to our people labeled with a mental illness..
