Dr. Vance cares for all his patients he trys to keep you healthy. He has a great bedside manner & explains things to you so you understand what's going on with your body,. He never rushes you out. He listens. Which is very rare in doctors today.

Wellness exam is a joke. He simply looks at blood test and talks to you. No stethoscope on chest for heart and lungs, does not exam you. I was told I didn't need an MRI or Ultrasound even though the radiologist MD recommended it. I have changed doctors.

Please change your appointment if you are scheduled to see Dr. Vance. You will wait 6mo to get an appt. When you finally get an appt You will wait. I have waited up to 3 hours. During the preexam he sent in his high school son to take my vitals. When Dr. Vance came in he actually took a personal call that lasted over 10 minutes. He spend no more than 3-5 minutes of his time and most of that time he talked about himself!...and then prescribed meds. that he didn't even explain why. He charged for tests that didn't need to be done. The office forgot to call in the medicine. When they did call they messed up which pharmacy. During the follow up the nurses seemed even more agitated. Bad bedside manner, bad office help, not listening to patients and their concerns. He seriously should not be practicing. Run fast if this is your doctor!

My view was this: Not sure if this doctor should be practicing medicine. Not very knowledgeable about simple medical issues. Did not spend much time with me and I had to wait about an hour in the exam room for him to finally come in. Wanted to sell me on a lot of tests that I didn't actually need or want. Did very little as far as giving me quality medical advice. Staff is very unprofessional and seemed more interested in billing issues than anything else. I will need to see another doctor and I would not recommend Dr. Vance to anyone who has real medical issues. He does seem like a nice guy though and that's the only reason I went with two stars rather than one.

Dr. Vance seems to be more concerned with his wealth than my health. His knowledge and concern for my issues was minimal at best. I felt that he was looking for ways to charge my insurance company for everything and anything that he could get away with by ordering excessive tests and exams which didn't even seem to relate to my problem. I see that many others seem to have had the same experience here. I should have done more research before visiting him. He seems like a nice person but that is where the buck stops. I would never return to his office nor would I recommend him to anyone. Very unprofessional and unknowledgeable in my view.

Dr Vance is not an M.D. (medical doctor). He is a D.O. In my opinion, there are HUGE differences in the knowledge and quality of medical services and expertise. I visited Dr. Vance's office several times and was very disappointed. I felt like I was more like a dollar sign at his office rather than a patient. I felt like I was seeing a used car salesman rather than a doctor. I would do some research before seeing this "doctor" (not an MD). There are too many good, high quality MD's in Las Vegas and I will never again go back to Dr. Vance. He seemed completely unkowledgeable about any of my issues and they are not at all complex. I agree with the other people here in that Dr. Vance put me through lot of billable testing that I felt was completely without merit. He sure made a lot of money off me but I felt that my appointment was worthless and a complete waste of time and money. MD's have a much higher standard of education and knowledge of medicine in my opinion. I will never return to… Dr. Vance's office.

I have had four experiences with Dr. Vance/his office staff. Two at his old office and two at the new. Wait time at his old office was longer than I like but not horrible. That was a couple of years ago and I hadn't been in since. Recently, I was having symptoms of a UTI. They told me to come in and do a test. I did the test and waited in the waiting room for forty minutes to be called back by a nurse to discuss results. At that point, I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be and she said she would notify them I was still waiting. Twenty minutes later, they finally called me back. A couple weeks later, I had an appointment for another issue. I spent 30 minutes in the waiting room, then another 60 minutes in the appointment room - this after being told there was one patient in front of me. I seriously thought they had forgotten me. Dr. Vance is an okay doctor - seems competent and nice enough, but I can't deal with my time being wasted like this anymore. I was… supposed to come in for a follow-up but instead switched to another doctor - one where the wait time ended up being 20 minutes total. (One more thing - while I was waiting to be called back, a man came in to drop off a sample. He was told he had to give it to a nurse. Twenty minutes later he was still waiting because apparently they couldn't spare the 2 minutes to come up and get it. Utter disregard for everyone's time...).

Dr. Vance is excellent! If you want a doctor who's qualified, listens and cares. That's him. He does have more test done than most doctors, because he is very thorough. This only reflects his quality of care. I can tell the office is stressed since the move. Hopefully that will be corrected. However, that will not change who I will go to for my healthcare needs.
